BMW Individual Manufaktr Visualizer: Unlocking 100+ Unique Hues
For those seeking true exclusivity, BMW offers the Individual Manufaktr Visualizer. This innovative tool opens up a world of possibilities, with over 100 additional colours to choose from. These options range from subtle and sophisticated to bold and daring, allowing M3 and M4 owners to create a truly one-of-a-kind vehicle.
How does the BMW Individual Manufaktr Visualizer work? It’s an online configurator that lets potential buyers experiment with a vast array of colours, visualizing their dream M3 or M4 before making a decision. This tool not only showcases BMW’s commitment to personalization but also demonstrates the brand’s understanding of its discerning clientele who desire something beyond the ordinary.
Twilight Purple: Embracing Bold Confidence
Among the standout options in the expanded colour palette is Twilight Purple. This rich, deep hue exudes confidence and pairs perfectly with the M3 and M4’s bold design language, particularly the distinctive front grille. Opting for Twilight Purple makes a statement, showcasing the owner’s willingness to stand out from the crowd.
Is Twilight Purple too bold for everyday use? While it certainly commands attention, the depth and sophistication of the colour make it surprisingly versatile. It can appear almost black in low light, revealing its true purple brilliance in sunlight. This duality adds an element of intrigue to the vehicle’s appearance.
Zanzibar II: A Mysterious Bronze Hue
Zanzibar II presents an intriguing option for those who appreciate subtlety with a twist. This bronzy hue offers a unique take on metallic finishes, providing a warm and inviting appearance that sets it apart from more common silver and grey options.
Why is there no Zanzibar I? The naming convention remains a mystery, but it adds to the allure of this distinctive colour. Zanzibar II’s rich, warm tones evoke images of exotic locales and sun-kissed beaches, making it an excellent choice for those who want their M3 or M4 to stand out in a sophisticated manner.
Urban Green and Mint Green: Embracing Nature-Inspired Tones
For those drawn to green hues, BMW offers two distinct options: Urban Green and Mint Green. Urban Green provides a modern, slightly military-inspired look, reminiscent of the Tactical Green seen on some Audi models. It’s perfect for buyers who want a colour that’s both unique and understated.
Mint Green, on the other hand, offers a lighter, more playful aesthetic. It’s reminiscent of the colour chosen for the Morgan Plus Four, bringing a touch of classic British racing heritage to the German performance machines. These green options showcase BMW’s willingness to experiment with colours that fall outside the traditional sports car palette.
Comparing Urban Green and Mint Green
- Urban Green: Darker, more serious tone
- Mint Green: Lighter, more whimsical appearance
- Urban Green: Modern aesthetic
- Mint Green: Vintage-inspired look
Fire Orange III: Channeling Racing Heritage
Fire Orange III pays homage to the legendary M3 GTS, a track-focused variant of the previous generation M3. This vibrant, attention-grabbing hue instantly communicates the vehicle’s high-performance pedigree and racing spirit.
Why choose Fire Orange III? For enthusiasts, it’s a way to connect their new M3 or M4 to BMW’s rich motorsport history. The colour is bold without being gaudy, striking a perfect balance between aggression and sophistication. It’s an ideal choice for those who want their M car to be instantly recognizable as something special.
Voodoo Blue: A Mesmerizing Aquatic Hue
Among the 24 different blue options available for the M3 and M4, Voodoo Blue stands out as particularly captivating. This deep, rich blue has an almost mystical quality, living up to its enchanting name. It’s a colour that demands attention without being overly flashy.
How does Voodoo Blue compare to other blue options? While traditional blues like Portimao Blue Metallic offer a more classic sports car look, Voodoo Blue pushes the boundaries. It’s darker and more intense, with a depth that seems to change depending on the light. This colour is perfect for those who appreciate the timeless appeal of blue but want something more unique and mysterious.
Velvet Orchid II: Daring to Be Different
For those truly looking to make a statement, Velvet Orchid II offers an unexpected and bold choice. This silky pink hue challenges traditional notions of what a high-performance car should look like, showcasing the M3 and M4’s softer, more sophisticated side.
Is Velvet Orchid II too feminine for a performance car? This question challenges our preconceptions about colour and gender in automotive design. In reality, Velvet Orchid II is a complex, multi-faceted colour that can appear anywhere from a soft rose to a deep mauve depending on the light. It’s a choice for confident individuals who aren’t afraid to challenge norms and appreciate the finer nuances of colour.
Dakar Yellow II: A Softer Take on High-Visibility
While the standard Sao Paulo Yellow offers a bright, high-visibility option, Dakar Yellow II presents a more subdued alternative. This softer yellow still catches the eye but in a less aggressive manner. It’s perfect for those who love yellow but find the standard offering too intense.
How does Dakar Yellow II interact with the M3 and M4’s design? The softer tone actually accentuates the vehicles’ curves and angles in a different way than brighter yellows. It creates interesting shadows and highlights, particularly on the muscular fenders and bold front fascia. However, it’s worth noting that this colour may clash with certain interior options, such as the blue and yellow seat trim available on the M4.
Nardo Grey: Bringing Audi’s Signature to BMW
In an interesting move, BMW has added Nardo Grey to its colour options, a hue traditionally associated with Audi’s RS models. This flat, military-inspired grey has gained a cult following in the automotive world for its understated yet distinctive appearance.
Why would BMW offer a colour associated with a competitor? It’s a strategic move that acknowledges the popularity of Nardo Grey among enthusiasts. By offering this option, BMW ensures that potential buyers won’t be swayed towards an Audi RS4 or RS5 solely based on colour preference. It also demonstrates BMW’s confidence in the M3 and M4’s ability to wear any colour well.
Rosso Corsa: A Nod to Italian Racing Heritage
In another surprising move, BMW offers Rosso Corsa, a name synonymous with Ferrari’s iconic red. This bold, bright red is the most vivid of the eleven red options available for the M3 and M4. It’s a colour that speaks of passion, speed, and racing heritage.
Can a BMW truly pull off Rosso Corsa? While it might seem sacrilegious to some purists, the M3 and M4’s aggressive styling actually wears this classic Italian racing red exceptionally well. It highlights the cars’ performance credentials and adds a touch of exotic flair to the German machines. Choosing Rosso Corsa for your M3 or M4 shows a appreciation for automotive history that transcends brand loyalties.
Signal Green: Channeling Chris Harris’s M3
Fans of automotive journalism might recognize Signal Green as the colour of the M3 driven by Top Gear’s Chris Harris. This bright, almost fluorescent green is not for the faint of heart, but it certainly makes a statement. It’s a colour that embodies the playful, exuberant nature of the M3 and M4.
How does Signal Green affect the perception of the M3 and M4? This colour emphasizes the cars’ youthful, energetic character. It’s a choice that says the owner doesn’t take themselves too seriously, but takes driving enjoyment very seriously indeed. Signal Green turns the M3 or M4 into a rolling manifestation of pure automotive joy.
Frozen Marina Bay Blue: Matte Sophistication
For those seeking a more understated yet still unique look, Frozen Marina Bay Blue offers an intriguing option. This matte blue finish provides a sophisticated, modern appearance that sets the M3 and M4 apart without resorting to bright or unconventional colours.
How does the matte finish change the car’s appearance? The Frozen finish gives the blue a depth and texture that’s impossible to achieve with glossy paint. It softens reflections, emphasizing the cars’ sculpted bodywork in a new way. When paired with a contrasting interior, such as the available Kyalami Orange leather, it creates a stunning visual combination that’s both classy and sporty.
The Impact of Colour on Performance Perception
While colour doesn’t affect a car’s performance, it can significantly influence how a vehicle is perceived. Brighter, more vivid colours like Fire Orange III or Signal Green emphasize the M3 and M4’s sporting intentions, while more subdued hues like Nardo Grey or Frozen Marina Bay Blue highlight their premium positioning.
Do certain colours make the M3 and M4 look faster? Psychologically, warmer colours like reds and oranges are often associated with speed and excitement. However, the M3 and M4’s performance credentials shine through regardless of colour choice. The wide range of options allows owners to tailor their car’s appearance to their personal style without compromising the vehicle’s inherent sportiness.
Colour and Resale Value: Considerations for the Future
When choosing a colour for a high-performance vehicle like the M3 or M4, it’s worth considering the potential impact on future resale value. While personal preference should be the primary factor, it’s important to note that more conservative colours typically have broader appeal in the used market.
Are bold colours a risky choice for resale? Not necessarily. While colours like Alpine White or Black Sapphire Metallic are safe choices, unique colours can sometimes command a premium in the used market, especially for limited production models. Ultimately, the M3 and M4’s desirability as performance cars often outweighs colour preferences for many buyers.
Factors Affecting Resale Value
- Colour popularity at time of resale
- Overall condition of the vehicle
- Mileage and service history
- Market demand for the specific model
- Any limited edition or special features
The Psychology of Colour in Automotive Design
The wide range of colours available for the BMW M3 and M4 isn’t just about personal preference; it’s a reflection of the complex psychology behind colour choices in automotive design. Different colours evoke different emotions and associations, which can significantly influence a buyer’s perception of the vehicle.
How do different colours affect our perception of the M3 and M4? Warm colours like reds and oranges tend to evoke feelings of excitement and energy, aligning well with the cars’ high-performance nature. Cool colours like blues and greens can suggest sophistication and technology, highlighting the advanced engineering in these vehicles. Neutral colours like greys and whites often communicate elegance and timelessness, appealing to those who want a more subtle approach to high performance.
Emotional Associations of Popular M3/M4 Colours
- Sao Paulo Yellow: Energy, youth, attention-grabbing
- Frozen Marina Bay Blue: Sophistication, technology, coolness
- Velvet Orchid II: Luxury, uniqueness, confidence
- Nardo Grey: Understated performance, military precision
- Alpine White: Purity, cleanliness, classic sports car look
The Future of BMW M Colours: Predictions and Possibilities
As automotive technology evolves, so too does the art of automotive finishing. The extensive colour palette available for the current M3 and M4 hints at exciting possibilities for future models. BMW’s willingness to offer bold, unconventional colours suggests a continued commitment to personalization and individual expression.
What colour innovations might we see in future BMW M models? Advancements in paint technology could lead to more dynamic finishes that change colour depending on viewing angle or temperature. We might also see an increased focus on sustainable, eco-friendly paints that maintain the high quality and durability expected of a premium vehicle.
Potential Future Colour Technologies
- Colour-shifting paints with wider range of hue changes
- Self-healing finishes that minimize scratches and swirl marks
- Interactive paints that can display information or change patterns
- Ultra-reflective or light-absorbing finishes for improved efficiency
- Biodegradable or carbon-negative paint options
The vast array of colour options available for the BMW M3 and M4 demonstrates the brand’s commitment to personalization and individual expression. From classic sports car hues to bold, unconventional choices, there’s a colour to suit every taste and personality. As BMW continues to push the boundaries of performance and technology in its M models, we can expect equally innovative approaches to colour and finish options in the future.

BMW M GmbH is presenting the latest generation of its high-performance models at the premium end of the midsize class. The new BMW M3 Sedan and new BMW M4 Coupé stand shoulder-to-shoulder in their interpretation of dynamically thrilling driving pleasure – characterised by a time-honoured sporting spirit and executed with cutting-edge technology. The high-revving six-cylinder in-line engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology at the heart of both models is available in two output levels. Nowhere else in this segment can customers choose a six-speed manual gearbox for their high-performance sports car, while an eight-speed M Steptronic transmission with Drivelogic and the intelligent all-wheel-drive system M xDrive – as an alternative to classical rear-wheel drive – both also find their way onto the specification sheets.

Electric sauna heater Harvia Sound M80E, platinum color (7-12 m3, 8 kW) HMSE800400J
Manufacturer: Harvia, Finland
Model: Sound M80E Platinum
Code: HMSE800400J
9001 7 Harvia Sound M80E wall-mounted electric sauna heater, platinum color (7-12 m3, 8 kW) (without remote control) – designed for small saunas. The model differs in stylish attractive design and the compact sizes. The heater is controlled using a remote control Harvia C-90 or C-150 (purchased separately). The remote control is installed in a dry place outside the steam room (for example, in a dressing room). The body of the heater is made of high quality stainless steel. This model is designed for wall mounting. The stove is mounted on the wall using a special bracket (supplied).
The oven is switched on by pressing the button on the control panel. After that, the heater will work for the time you have programmed and then automatically turn off (unless it is turned off manually earlier). A delayed start of turning on the furnace is also possible. This means that the oven will start working by itself after the time you set. For example, if you go on a three-hour walk and want to take a steam bath after it, you need to select the “delayed start” mode and set the number “2” on the display. This means that after two hours the heater will automatically turn on and begin to heat up. The heating time of the sauna is approximately one hour. Thus, after three hours, the sauna will be ready for soaring.
The oven’s operation is monitored by a sensor box containing a temperature sensor and an overheat protection device. The thermostat is installed in the steam room under the ceiling above the stove. If the temperature in the sauna rises too high, the thermostat’s overheat protectors will trip and the heating elements will automatically turn off. The main causes of overheating are: too tightly packed stones, incorrect installation of the stove, poor ventilation.
The oven is mounted on a mounting frame, which is fixed to the wall with screws (included). The heater itself is installed on this mounting frame. Before installing the stove, make sure the wall is strong. If necessary, the wall can be reinforced with a thick board. Since the sauna heater gets very hot, it is recommended to use a safety guard to avoid accidental contact with hot surfaces. This model can also be installed in a niche (minimum height 1900 mm). When installing the oven, minimum safety distances must be observed.
Heater Harvia Sound M80E is designed to operate on a 3-phase 400 V AC network. Sound M80E:
