The watch comes in a colorful box made of thick
cardboard.
The main functions of the watch are shown on the side. Below are
specifications.
Inside, under the lid, there is a soft lodgement, in which the watch and
additional strap
This watch has the richest equipment that I
happened to see. In addition to an additional strap, they were also equipped with a protective
glass, plus a traditional charging cable and instructions.
The manual has high-quality color printing, but unfortunately without a Russian translation.
60 cm charging cable with magnetic attachment.
Despite the fact that the watch has a glass of increased strength and resistance to scratches, the manufacturer has also equipped the watch with a protective glass
Also included is a spare strap. He is the most common, silicone. This is how most budget smart watches and bracelets are equipped
However, the monitored watches no longer belong to this class of devices, as evidenced by their price and the PRO prefix in the title. And distinguishes them
from the rest in the first place is the strap. But not its bright blue-orange coloring, but the way
fixation. The strap has a magnetic fastening. Two sides just stick
friend-to-friend in the place you need, not where the manufacturer
made a hole in the strap. It is very convenient and fast.
The watch has a rectangular metal case with
rounded corners. The description says that it is stainless steel, but it looks more like aluminum. Many watches are produced in this form factor, but the case
these are slightly larger than usual, and accordingly the screen size is also larger. So
more information will fit on this screen. The weight of the watch with the strap is a solid 60 grams.
The watch has a side button with a red border,
stylized as a winding wheel and another flat button under it,
activating fitness modes.
The sensors are located on the back of the case on a slightly protruding area. Above them are two round metal magnetic charging contacts. The strap has a quick release pin.
The 26.5 cm strap is enough for the fullest hand.
The watch does not look big on a man’s hand. On the children’s or women’s, they will probably be large. The watch screen is covered with a transport film imitating a dial.
After turning on the clock, it loaded so quickly that I didn’t even have time to take a picture of the start animation, when a bright cheerful dial appeared on the screen. The watch is built on the basis of its own operating system Kies OS 2.0
The screen is really big and very bright. It’s easy to see even in direct sunlight. Screen diagonal 2.01″, resolution 410*502 px.
In addition to the pre-installed dial, there are 4 more
in the memory of the watch. And there is some unimaginable number of dials in the application and available for download on the watch
The watch is paired with the KIE OS application. We download it from the play store, install it, register, enter our physiological parameters, give all the requested permissions, scan the QR code from the watch screen and give permission to pair
Then you need to set up notifications and give the necessary permissions on your phone to be able to read messages and make/receive calls. In general, the application is well Russified, but in some places untranslated sections of text slip through
The watch has a touch screen. Management is due to touches, swipes and button presses. Swipe down from the dial opens the quick settings menu
Here you can activate the flashlight and then the watch screen will fill with a white uniform fill. It is quite possible to highlight something in the dark with such a flashlight. There is also access to a feature that is extremely useful in my opinion – AOD, a simplified dial that is always on the screen. The watch offers a choice of two possible AOD dials: digital and hand
Usually these watch faces are single color, but not in this case – they are colored and if you select a digital watch face, you can still see the number of steps, day of the week and date
arrows, but it increases the energy consumption of the watch quite a lot, so the screen brightness in this mode is greatly reduced and in direct sunlight such a dial is poorly visible. Indoors and in cloudy weather no problem
Swipe to the right from the dial opens access to the main functions in a small menu
Swipe to the left alternately opens access to measurements and a number of other functions. The summary statistics of physical activity is activated first: the number of steps, the distance traveled, the number of calories burned and the time spent on physical activity
Next, access to the measurement of heart rate opens. It can be forced on. Or you can set it in the application to constantly measure your heart rate at specified intervals and alert you when your heart rate goes beyond the set limits
With further swipes, we get access to data on the last sleep – its duration and phases, measuring blood oxygen saturation, controlling the music player, and you can also choose to set the weather menu or measure stress
I don’t see much point in measuring stress, since this is a derivative of measuring the pulse and SPO2, but the weather and forecast for the coming days is quite a useful thing. To get weather information, you will need to enable location in the phone settings or enter your locality manually
It is also possible to call up a menu of quick access to all functions at once
The watch can be configured to be worn on the left or right hand – left-handers will appreciate this functionality
The gadget is easy to use as a hands-free telephone headset. You can receive calls and make them yourself
You can make a call directly from the dialer, or through your favorite contacts or call history
The volume is sufficient for a room or a quiet street. The interlocutor also hears you well, but slightly muffled. The ear holes of the speaker are located on the left side of the body, the microphone on the right
The big screen is a really big plus, which helps a lot when reading long messages. There is a lot of text on the screen. The font is simple, easy to read
There is a voice assistant in the watch. Pressing the assistant button on the watch brings up the corresponding menu in the phone
The fitness capabilities of the watch are impressive. According to the manufacturer, in total, the watch can track more than 100 different types of exercises. In the watch menu, they are grouped into thematic subcategories.
For each workout, a log is kept with a detailed description of the measured parameters: distance traveled, heart rate, calories burned, training pace
At the same time, the application displays the completed track on the map, when GPS is turned on on the phone, as well as advanced training indicators with measurement graphs
The watch is equipped with a 300 mAh battery. If you turn on the maximum power consumption mode: AOD, constant heart rate and SPO2 measurements, a telephone headset, often use the fitness tracker mode, then the charge lasts for 2-3 days. If you refuse some of the functions, especially AOD, then a week without recharging is quite real.
The watch has a rather nice design with a very interesting magnetic strap. Equipped with a metal case with high-strength glass. Bright Amoled screen with AOD function will always watch the clock on the display. There is a telephone headset and a voice assistant. The fitness tracker has over a hundred workout options. The disadvantages I would include a slightly large screen and increased weight of the watch.
