If there is a deadline for applications, we try to indicate this on our job site. As a rule, if you see a job posting, it means that we are currently accepting applications. Vacancies remain on the site until a suitable candidate is found. This means that the deadline for accepting applications can vary significantly depending on the position.
Expert tip #1
Be yourself
We want to get to know the candidate for real. We want to know more about you than what’s on your resume. Whether you’re applying for a Nike position in engineering, sales, or marketing, get to know our products before your interview. Try on our clothes and shoes, try out our equipment or read about how it was developed.
Expert Advice #3
Do Your Own Research
Before the interview, do some background research on the people you will be interacting with. LinkedIn is the best resource for this purpose. Think about what facts from your biography might be of interest to them. Prepare a few questions for each interviewer based on their work experience and role in the company. Ask questions to show that you have researched information not only about the position, but also about the company and employees with whom you may work together.

Child on social media: why Nike signed a 9-year-old footballer
As a Paris Saint-Germain graduate, Shane Kluivert became one of the youngest athletes in the portfolio of the American sports brand
At the end of July, Nike signed a contract with new athlete. The signing turned out to be noisy, despite the fact that the guy has not yet won anything. And could he? Shane Kluivert is only 9 years old. He simply did not participate in serious competitions yet.
Usually such contacts are a big risk. Predicting a painless transition from youth football to adult football is difficult, even for a 17-year-old. And to guarantee anything in 9 years is simply unrealistic. Boys who are destined to be the next Messi at 10 often quit football at 14.
But Nike certainly didn’t miss the mark with Shane. The contract with the player of the children’s school of the French Paris Saint-Germain is a prime example of how marketing will work in the era of social networks and the global village.
Shane Kluivert plays football very well for his age – he has a peculiar technique, he does not hesitate to hit from any position and is good in martial arts. But this is only a small part of his unique story, which was bought by Nike.
The boy is the son of the legendary forward of Ajax, Barcelona and the Dutch national team Patrick Kluivert. Patrick was an early star himself – already at the age of 18 he decided the outcome of the 1995 Champions League final, scoring the only goal against Milan. But his son from his second marriage became famous even earlier. And for this he did not even have to play in official matches.
Nike is unlikely to bet on a child’s career. Shane is already quite a serious advertising platform. His Instagram account, run by his brother, already has 135,000 followers. The YouTube channel is close to hitting 2 million views. At the same time, it has only 25 videos and 36,000 subscribers so far.
The signing Instagram post with a photo of the ceremony got over 35,000 likes and nearly a thousand comments. A simple “Good morning, it’s time for breakfast” gets 222,000 views – almost the population of Eindhoven, Holland’s fifth largest city.
Posted by Shane Kluivert (@shanekluivert) Jul 26, 2017 at 5:01 AM PDT
The video of Shane cooking simple pasta has 200,000 views. Salmon (which even shows a boy choosing food in the market) – 135,000.
Football? Yes, he is also in the media content from the youngest Kluivert. Adults are most impressed by the footage from children’s matches, in which Shane, despite his small stature, looks cooler than his larger rivals. But much more popular than such videos are football lessons, where he simply hits on empty goals or shows tricks. This is a kind of video school for kids.
It is not yet clear if Shane will become a football star. But it is already obvious that he has great inclinations in order to become an Internet star. “He is able to convey the brand message in a very original, authentic way. So firms like Nike are interested in signing these kids. Everyone is after people with influence. And they are getting younger every year,” comments Dutch marketing expert Marcel Beerthuizen.
9-year-old Kluivert is the youngest athlete in Dutch history to sign a sponsorship contract and is Nike’s youngest brand ambassador in Europe. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Most likely, we are not talking about any large sums – this is most likely a standard equipment contract that is offered to talented players aged 16-18, plus a small bonus for a stellar pedigree. And yet, remember, Shane is only nine.
However, the collaboration between the younger Kluivert and Nike is not the only example of how brands use influencers in advertising – people with influence. Children are a very important element of this new marketing. For example, the Yamaha concern a few years ago signed a 4-year-old wunderkind who played drums (since the signing, of course, on the drums of a Japanese company).
Posted by Shane Kluivert (@shanekluivert) Jul 1, 2017 at 12:01 pm PDT
New media (which, of course, are not so new anymore) are in high demand by conventional adults. But the demand for them among children is simply rampant. All our ideas about popularity become outdated every day. Singer Dmitry Malikov has 189 on Instagram000 subscribers – not to say that he greatly overtook Shane Kluivert. And this despite the fact that the first one has been collecting full houses in Olimpiyskiy for more than 25 years, and the second has been playing football for a quarter of the field.
All this is absolutely in the trend of what is happening. Children are already a gigantic target audience. But later they will become solvent adults. It is no coincidence that out of the 10 most viewed projects on YouTube, three are entirely dedicated to children and even made by children. A review of toys from 6-year-old Ryan has collected 14 billion views in two years. 13.2 billion – from the channel broadcasting simple rhymes for babies under bright pictures. 13 billion from another channel that reviews toys.
