What we know about Gen 6 Pokémon
Originating from the Kalos region, which takes inspiration from northern France, Gen 6 introduces 72 new Pokémon. This includes a collection of new legendaries, the traditional three – grass, water and fire – starter Pokémon and Klefki, the sentient keys Pokémon because why not.
Here are some interesting facts about how Gen 6 makes itself unique among the multiple Pokémon generations:
Sylveon.
- Gen 6 saw the introduction of the fairy-type, which was the first new Pokémon type introduced since dark and steel-type Pokémon were introduced in Gold and Silver. Not only were pure fairy-type Pokémon, like Spritzee, were introduced, but older Pokémon, such as Marill and Jigglypuff, became dual types to increase the range of fairy-type Pokémon available.
- Sylveon, the eighth Eevee evolution, was introduced as part of Gen 6. To obtain it in the main line series, Eevee must know at least one fairy-type move and have a high friendship level with you.
- Mega Evolution and the various alternate forms for Absol, Mewtwo and other Pokémon, were introduced as part of this generation.
- Gen 6 includes one of the most elaborate and unique evolution methods in the entire Pokémon series. If you want to evolve Inkay into Malamar, you must train Inkay to level 30 and then, when the evolution process begins, turn the console upside down. This is achieved thanks to the internal gyroscope of the Nintendo 3DS and, since this is the first Nintendo handheld console to include a gyroscope, this evolution method would be impossible in previous generations.
- Gen 6 is the first Pokémon generation to not have a pure ground or electric-type Pokémon.

The U.S. Air Force is planning to deploy a “sixth-generation” fighter in 2030. Prototypes of this aircraft, never before seen by the public, have already flown in secret. There is not a lot the public knows about the U.S. Air Force’s new fighter jet.
But one thing’s for sure: technologists and engineers at Raytheon Intelligence & Space are working on the very same kinds of systems they believe will bring the kind of technical superiority the military wants its new plane to deliver. They are not designing the aircraft. They are designing systems (sensors, communications, electronic warfare and more) that they hope will one day provide overwhelming technical superiority over enemies in the air.
Our experts have six bold predictions for sixth-generation fighters:
1. Future fighters will have one system for everything
Sixth-generation fighters could have a piece of gear that does multiple jobs, replacing different systems typically seen on today’s aircraft. This hardware would include adaptable software that changes between tasks in mere nanoseconds.
“You no longer have a radar, no longer have electronic warfare, no longer have a radio,” said Jason “Tex” Clark, director for Advanced Mission Systems at RI&S. “Instead, you have multifunction hardware that does it all and can be repurposed very quickly – switching between functions so quickly it seems instantaneous.”
2. Fighters will become “flying data centers”
The computer processing power for sixth-gen fighters will reach staggering levels, taking the sophisticated mission computers aboard today’s aircraft and essentially turning the planes into flying data centers.
“Next-generation multifunction systems will produce orders of magnitude more data than previous systems,” said Tomek Rys, business development director for Communications & Airspace Management Systems at RI&S. “On-board compute clusters composed of high-performance, ruggedized processors will effectively put a data center in the sky. These systems will leverage artificial intelligence to turn data into information in real time. The result will be faster decision making.”
3. AI will be the wingman of the future
Pilots for futuristic sixth-gen fighters could have help from nearby planes flown autonomously through a concept known as “manned-unmanned teaming” or MUM-T.
That’s right: AI wingmen.

In mid-range servers, as we can see, the same platform change took place, but several interesting features appeared:
- The DL380 G6 server now supports the installation of up to 16 disks, which was sometimes greatly lacking in the fifth generation of these servers. The ML370 G6 has once again increased its scalability.
- At the factory, a P410i raid controller is now installed in the 300 series servers, which in the minimum configuration supports 0 \ 1 \ 1 + 0 raid levels. These servers used to have an E200i, which only supported 0 \ 1, and required an optional $ 100 BBWC module to use the 1 + 0 level.
- It is also worth noting that thanks to the efforts of HP, it became possible to use economical 460W power supplies in the 300 series servers.The old 750W and 1200W are optionally available.
The arrival of the new DL370 G6 server shouldn’t confuse you. This is just a rackmount version of the ML370 G6 server, i.e. The ML370T05 was replaced with the ML370 G6 and the ML370R05 was replaced with the DL370 G6.
At this time, no information has yet been received from HP about the rest of the modified servers. All servers with AMD Opteron processors remained unchanged, as well as the DL120 G5, DL320 G5p, DL580 G5, ML110 G5, ML310 G5p server. Maybe HP will withdraw these models from production, maybe the 6th generation of these models will appear in the near future.We will wait for news from HP.
