Decoding Under Armour Shorts: Fit and Style Variations
When it comes to Under Armour shorts, the sizing can be a bit more complex. Generally, their shorts tend to run small, but this can vary depending on the style, material, and intended fit. Under Armour offers three main fits for their shorts: loose, fitted, and compression.
- Loose fit: These shorts typically run true to size and offer a more relaxed, comfortable fit.
- Fitted: These shorts are designed to hug the body without being too tight. They may run small for those who prefer a looser fit.
- Compression: These shorts are meant to fit very snugly and may feel small if you’re not accustomed to compression wear.
For fitted and compression shorts, it’s often recommended to size up if you prefer a more comfortable, less restrictive fit. However, for loose-fit shorts, staying true to your regular size should work well for most individuals.
Sports Bras: Support and Sizing Considerations
Under Armour sports bras generally run true to size, offering a comfortable and supportive fit for most wearers. The brand uses lightweight, breathable materials that provide excellent support during various athletic activities. However, sizing can vary slightly depending on your cup size and personal preferences.
For individuals with cup sizes A to D, Under Armour sports bras typically fit true to size. However, those with cup sizes larger than D may find that some styles run small or provide insufficient support. In these cases, it may be beneficial to size up or look for styles specifically designed for larger bust sizes.
To ensure the best fit, consider the following factors when choosing an Under Armour sports bra:
- Impact level: Choose a bra with appropriate support for your activity (low, medium, or high impact).
- Band fit: The band should be snug but not restrictive, sitting flat against your ribcage.
- Cup coverage: Ensure there’s no spillage or gaping in the cups.
- Strap adjustment: Look for adjustable straps to customize the fit.
Jackets and Outerwear: Navigating Under Armour’s Fit
Under Armour jackets and vests tend to run small, particularly in the chest area. This is partly due to the brand’s focus on performance wear, which often features a more fitted silhouette to reduce bulk during athletic activities. If you prefer a roomier fit or have a broader chest, it’s generally recommended to size up when purchasing Under Armour outerwear.
Keep in mind that the fit can vary depending on the specific jacket or vest style:
- Performance jackets: These tend to have a slimmer, more athletic fit and may run small.
- Casual jackets: While still often on the smaller side, these may have a slightly more relaxed fit than performance styles.
- Insulated jackets: These may run small to accommodate layering underneath.
- Vests: Often run small, especially in the chest area.
When in doubt, consult Under Armour’s size charts and consider sizing up if you’re between sizes or prefer a looser fit.
Understanding Fit Variations in Under Armour Tops
Under Armour offers a variety of tops, including t-shirts, tank tops, and long-sleeve shirts. The fit of these items can vary depending on the specific style and intended use. Here’s a general overview:
T-Shirts and Long-Sleeve Shirts
Under Armour shirts often run small, particularly in the chest and shoulders. This is especially true for their performance-oriented styles, which are designed to provide a close, athletic fit. If you prefer a looser fit or have a broader build, consider sizing up.
Tank Tops
Interestingly, Under Armour tank tops tend to have different sizing trends for men and women:
- Men’s tank tops: Often run big, providing a looser, more relaxed fit.
- Women’s tank tops: Typically run small, with a more fitted silhouette.
These differences highlight the importance of trying on items when possible or carefully consulting size charts before making a purchase.
Hoodies and Sweatshirts
Under Armour hoodies and sweatshirts generally run true to size. However, if you prefer a looser, more relaxed fit, you might consider sizing up, especially if you plan to wear layers underneath.
Bottom Wear: Pants, Underwear, and More
When it comes to Under Armour’s bottom wear, including pants, underwear, and dresses, the sizing tends to be more consistent:
Pants
Under Armour pants typically run true to size. This includes both athletic styles (like track pants or joggers) and more casual options. However, if you’re between sizes or prefer a looser fit, sizing up is always an option.
Underwear
Under Armour underwear generally fits true to size for both men and women. The brand offers a range of styles, from compression fits to more relaxed options, so consider your preferences when choosing.
Dresses
For women’s dresses, Under Armour sizing is usually true to size. However, as with any clothing item, it’s essential to consider the specific style and intended fit of the dress when making your selection.
Remember that individual body shapes and personal preferences can affect how clothing fits. When in doubt, it’s always a good idea to consult Under Armour’s detailed size charts or try on items in-store if possible.

Check Your Size Description
Your sizing guide and measurement tips should be your holy grail in this decision. You should run them precisely to get the best fit for your purchase. Remember that a half-inch can make a world of difference in your size.
Following this tip will ensure you the greatest comfort. If you want a bigger fit, you can always add an extra half-inch to your size, and likewise, if you want a smaller fit.
Sizes Can Change
A lot of factors can affect your foot size. Whether you’ve gained or lost weight, you need to check your latest measurements to get the most accurate size fitting.
The best way is to always measure your feet before buying a new pair of shoes. But, if that sounds like too much hassle, you can always just compare your size in another shoe brand you already own that typically runs true to size. Rockports run true to size, for example, as do Adidas, Crocs shoes, and Doc Martens. If you own those shoes, just check the size and that’s probably what you should order for Under Armour shoes.
Just remember that some brands can run too small or too big (we’ve found that UGGs generally run big, for example), so be cautious with this method of picking the right shoe size.
Understand the Return Policy
Before buying your Under Armour shoes, you need to extensively familiarize yourself with the return, refund, and exchange policy. Some places may not allow a return under certain conditions.
If you’re purchasing your shoes from the official site, then you have better benefits of return and exchange. They allow free returns within 60 days of purchase, provided you have proof of purchase. Exchanges are also accepted.
Too Big or Too Small?
If you already bought your shoes and they happen to fit big, you can always wear extra thick socks to compensate for the space. As for smaller sizes, we recommend you return them since you risk getting blisters and general foot pain, all of which we’re sure you’d want to avoid.
Do Under Armour Shoes Stretch Out?

How You Can Measure Your Foot Size in Under Armour Shoes
If you’re not sure how to go about finding your size, here’s what you can do. With regards to Under Armour shoes, you need to measure in inches from heel to toe.
Get a piece of paper and trace your foot on it to get a better measurement. Make sure you have your entire weight over that foot measurement. Try to also take your size by the end of the day, since your foot would be more relaxed in your shoes.
Can’t find your exact size? We recommend you find the next larger size. Luckily, Under Armour shoes offer half sizes to get a better fit. If you end up with a smaller fit, your shoes can get uncomfortable in the long run and end up in your donations pile.
Although some may prefer to have a tight and wide fit, especially if they go on runs.

With what mileage is it better not to buy a car at all? .02.2020 12:40

Boris Zakharov
Picking up imagine a used car, we look primarily at the date of issue and the mileage on the odometer. It is rightly believed that these factors make it possible to assess the technical condition of the machine. However, even if the mileage is “honest”, you should pay attention to a number of points. Let’s figure out which ones.
The combination of mileage and age is important
Pure mileage is not an absolute criterion and incentive to buy these days. In fact, you should be warned about both too much and suspiciously small mileage. For example, if you buy a Renault Logan and see 10 thousand kilometers on the odometer after three years of operating the car, there is reason to think.
Alternatively, the mileage can be “rewound” or the car has been idle for many months, or maybe for a couple of years. The latter circumstance, by the way, should not be particularly rejoiced, because during prolonged downtime, various fractions of engine oil can precipitate, oil seals, freed from oil protection, dry out and lose their elasticity.
The fuel in the gas tank can also degrade and oxidize over the years, and the battery at rest tends to discharge and shorten its life. If the car was idle on the street, tires can also lose their properties due to the direct rays of the sun. Hence the logical conclusion. If you buy, for example, a “three-year-old” – pick up a car with a mileage of about 50 thousand – 60 thousand km. After all, as you know, the average driver drives from 15 thousand to 20 thousand km a year.
It is also worth keeping in mind that problems with engines in budget cars usually begin after 150 thousand km, and in cars of a more expensive segment – after 200-250 thousand km. So it is better to avoid such machines. However, of course, there are exceptions to every rule.
How mileage is twisted

Unfortunately, there are a lot of examples when they want to sell you a car with twisted mileage. The “craftsmen” were sharpened to “rewind” back the mechanical speedometers of domestic vehicles.
To do this, the instrument panel is dismantled, the kilometer counting mechanism is disassembled, the digital field is set to the required value, after which the part with the twisted mileage is installed back into the instrument panel. In budget foreign cars, the “tidy” is removed, the on-board computer is connected to a laptop on which the appropriate software is installed, or to a special device – a programmer.
Electronic counters of expensive machines are even easier to twist, you only need a special device to roll back the electronic counter.
How to spot skewed mileage on electronic gauges

Be aware that scammers can be caught with skewed mileage on cars with electronic gauges. The fact is that a number of sensors (in particular, devices that are installed on the gearbox shaft or directly on the vehicle wheel) and other elements tied to the on-board computer can tell about the real mileage after being connected to diagnostic devices at a service station.
According to experts, it is most difficult to roll up mileage on modern BMW models, where there are dozens of backup points for storing mileage information. Even if the scammers went through all the nodes and cleaned up the information, you can determine the catch by viewing the events recorded by the onboard computer. Alternatively, servicemen can read information about a system error at 100,000 km with a fake 50,000 kilometers on the odometer. In addition, the fact of routine maintenance at a certain mileage (TO) must be recorded in the car’s service book.
Signs of high mileage

The actual mileage of a car can be determined by the condition of the exterior and interior. Age and use for wear and tear (for example, when driving a car in a taxi) give out, first of all, the condition of the paintwork of the front of the car (the more chips and dents there are, the stronger your suspicions should be), brake disc wear, worn windshield, dirty key fob and driver’s door clearance.
In the cabin, you need to look first of all at the condition of the steering wheel rim, the groove from which the seat belt is fed, the condition of the fabric part of the belts themselves, the gear lever handle and the pedal pads. Although in theory during the pre-sale preparation, these elements can be masterfully updated. Therefore, we are also looking for less obvious signs of overrun. In brand new cars, the seats are unlikely to be squashed, the armrests are scratched, the platform at the pedal assembly is worn out, the fabric inserts on the doors near the handles are worn out, the steering column switches and the inscriptions on the control buttons and, above all, the radio volume control washer are worn.
How to avoid problems when buying a used car

When buying a used car, there are a few rules to follow. First of all, you do not need to choose a car, focusing only on the indicated mileage and only on the appearance – both can be “brought to mind” by sellers.
Do not look at the cheapest and most expensive offers. Research the identity of the owner or owners if you are buying a car from a private seller. A personal conversation with him will clarify a lot about the condition of the car. Finally, through a number of portals and services (many of them are paid), you can find out what mileage was indicated for the car in previous ads.

Vehicle mileage. Myths and reality | New in Ukraine
Buyers of used cars often wonder if the mileage is real and express delight about the minimum mileage for 5-10-15 and even 20-year-old cars. #Letters tried to delve into the topic and figure out where the true mileage is, and where the data is cheated.
The average car mileage of the average citizen (or citizen) is usually around 25,000 km per year. This is the figure that almost all automakers operate.
As a consequence, as we can see, the average mileage over 10 years is 250,000 km for an average car.
Of course, there are many different options – the second (third, fifth) car in the family, a person just didn’t drive much, and so on, but this is more an exception to the rule than a pattern. But here, for example, with regard to cars from Europe – not a single normal European, again, as a rule, will give away a car with a mileage of less than 100-200 thousand km.

Why? Because it’s not profitable to do so.
Why not profitable? Because for 200 thousand km on high-quality roads, a car of European manufacturers will not turn into a tired pile of metal, as on the roads of the post-Soviet space. And, as a rule, the inhabitants of Europe are not afraid of runs of 200-300 thousand km on their odometers.
Therefore, when cars are driven to our countries after the same Germans, for example, the mileage of 10-20-year-old cars for some reason without exception is 100-120-150 thousand km 🙂 Such a mileage is rather an exception, and not a pattern, but all our sales sites are full of ads with such runs.
Of course, those who adjust the mileage are guided by the general condition of the car, by wear and tear, technical condition, etc. So, the steering wheel, seats, door card trims, carpets and other parts of the interior can be easily replaced, and engine and engine compartment – just wash and get the effect of a fresh car.
