CARRIAGE OF LIFEJACKETS ON AIRCRAFT
If you are intending to take your Crewsaver Lifejacket with you on board an airplane you may wish to read the following advice to ensure a hassle free journey.
You may not be aware, but travelling with Inflatable Lifejackets on board aircrafts can be difficult due to the fitted CO2 gas cylinders. These are classed under the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Dangerous Goods Regulations and require you to get approval from the operator before taking them on board.
This means that you MUST contact your operator in advance of your flight or booking and clarify with them their position on the carriage of Lifejackets fitted with CO2 gas cylinders.
Crewsaver Lifejackets and their components conform to current legislation as laid out by IATA guidelines. We have provided in this section a letter of conformity explaining about the gas cylinder and copy of the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations which can be presented to the carrier following a confirmation that they are happy for you to take these products on board.

The family of a student who returned from the DPRK to the United States refused an autopsy

At the end of February, the North Korean authorities released Otto’s “confession”
The family of an American student, Otto Warmbier, who was serving time in a North Korean prison and died shortly after returning to the United States, refused to perform an autopsy.
Otto Warmbier died on Monday 19 June at his home in Ohio. Prior to that, he spent more than 15 months in detention in the DPRK.
According to the coroner, only an external examination of the body was performed.
The coroner’s statement states that “no conclusions have been reached at this time as to the cause of Otto Warmbier’s death.”
US President Donald Trump condemned the “cruel regime” of North Korea.
North Korea handed over 22-year-old Otto Warmbier to the United States last week, saying it was doing so for “humanitarian reasons.” Warmbier had been in a coma for about a year by this time.
His parents stated that the young man had been subjected to “terrible, agonizing treatment”. As a result, Otto Warmbier, who was sent to prison for trying to steal a campaign poster from a hotel, died at home without regaining consciousness.

Trump stated that “a lot of bad things happened” to Warmbeer, but added, “At least we were able to get him home to his parents, who were so happy to see him despite his very poor condition.”
Otto Warmbier’s parents, Fred and Cindy, reported that their son died at 2:20 pm local time (9:20 pm Moscow time) on Monday at a Cincinnati hospital where he was receiving treatment.
“When Otto returned to Cincinnati on June 13, he could not speak, could not see, could not respond to words. It was obvious that he was very uneasy – that he was almost in pain. Although we did not hear his voice, during the day his expression changed – he was calm. He was at home, and we believe that he felt it, “Otto’s family said in a statement.
