The Chicago Blackhawks are so excited to offer our very first Big Stride Hockey Camp for the Summer 2023 season! This camp is for female Junior High and High School hockey players and will focus on on-ice training, as well as off-ice informational training such as: Networking, Resume Building, Interviewing and Career Path Training for those interested in working with professional sports teams. Our organization is filled with excellent female leaders who are ready to provide their expertise and advice to the next generation of female leaders in all sports and organizations. The sessions will be geared toward skills such as power skating, edgework, agility, puck handling and shooting. Participants will also work on team skills in 1v1, 2v2 and scrimmages. Wednesday will feature a full Olympic panel extended to parents of our campers to come and hear from our Female Ambassadors. This will also include a Q&A for campers and parents as our panel guests are excited to provide information, as their career paths can inspire the next generation of female leaders!
Any amount of experience is welcome! However, to maximize each child’s experience, he or she may be asked to skate in a different age group depending on skill level.
Included in registration is six hours of on-ice skills, off-ice training, lectures, specialty Big Strides merchandise, a ticket to a Blackhawks game and much more.

A training camp for Russian hockey players has opened in Chicago – Hockey
The day before, a training camp for Russian hockey players was opened in Chicago under the leadership of the president of the Russian Hockey Federation (FHR), Vladislav Tretiak.

MOSCOW, July 14 – RIA Novosti. Chicago Blackhawks goaltender Corey Crawford has not yet arrived at the team’s training camp ahead of the resumption of the season, according to the league’s website.
