Purpose
Computer pH meter-ionomer UPS RAS is designed for high-precision stationary and kinetic measurements of pH solution, as well as free concentrations (activities) of various ions in solution under laboratory conditions under the control of a computer program (measuring / reference electrodes are not included in the delivery set).
The device provides the possibility of introducing a correction for a change in the length of the pX scale with a change in the measurement temperature, monitored using the supplied temperature sensor. An additional opportunity provided is to carry out stationary and kinetic measurements of temperature or voltage. The latter possibility allows the device to be used to read data from chromatographic detectors, serving as a replacement for expensive systems for recording chromatographic data. The use of the instrument together with a laptop computer allows it to be used in the field.
Due to the multi-point calibration capability of the sensor being used, the pH meter-ionomer can be used to work with a variety of non-linear sensors. Saving calibration curves for the applied electrodes/sensors allows them to be changed as needed without recalibration, providing comfortable work in case of using several electrodes/sensors.
