A red light came on at a traffic light, but the cavalcade swept past without slowing down. An alarming police whistle sounded in pursuit. In the traffic controller’s booth, the same shocked duty officer reported into the telephone receiver:

– Comrade chief, a carriage without a number has just passed … At a red light! I noticed a civilian woman in a fur quilted jacket with a fan, and in front there were twenty civilians wearing masks on horseback … What? .. But when did I sleep at the post? Is it conceivable? A?…. There is an arrest for a day.

The “Pilgrim” brig stood at the mooring lines at the shore covered with bushes.

Drawing their swords, they rushed at Gulliver and Robinson.

– Finally, I will deal with you, goat skin! The pirate shouted to Robinson.

Gulliver, wrapping a cloak on his left hand, skillfully fenced with a sword. He was pushed back to the very side. Robinson fought back with the butt of his musket.

Arthur Gray defended the bridge from half a dozen of Negoro’s men. They burst one by one into a narrow passage and fell backwards, struck down by the masterful blows of the dagger.

Swords and cleavers rang throughout the deck. Shots rang out from different directions.

An unequal battle was going on at the top of the foremast.Four pirates with belts in their teeth climbed single file onto the yard. Dick Sand, fighting back with a dagger, stepped back to the very end of the yard. Water rustled far below. The young man struck, and the slain pirate fell down.

Before there was a splash of water, Dick Sand knocked the second one off the mast. But he did not suspect that Negoro hung over his head, clinging to the shrouds, with a crooked Malay kris in his teeth. The fifteen-year-old captain grabbed the rope to climb down to the deck. He was already hanging in the air, but Negoro cut the rope with one blow from Chris.Dick flew down from a great height. The young man fell on a wind-inflated sail and managed to stick a dagger into it.

Cutting through the strong canvas, the dagger played the role of a brake, and only this saved Dick. He, cutting the sail in two, slid down to the deck itself. Negoro aimed his pistol, but did not have time to pull the trigger – Dick fired, and the Portuguese fell from the foremast into the water.

On the middle deck near the cabin door, Nemo stood with an electric gun in his hands. The captain of the Korshun ran up to him.

Not expecting a blow from the rear, the confused pirates began to throw themselves overboard. Bill Atkins tried to stop his men, but Robinson’s iron hand grabbed him by the collar and threw him astern.

However, the old pirate managed to grab the anchor chain with his hands and hid near the hawse.

In the coastal bushes near the carriage, an enraged milady rushed about, dropping her lorgnette on the sand.Her maid screamed in dismay when she saw Negoro wandering. Ooze clung to the Portuguese’s clothes, and a handkerchief was wrapped around his left hand. Behind him, supporting each other, hobbled a few of my lady’s surviving servants.

Milady met the corsair with a couple of sonorous slaps in the face.

Alexey Moskvin : The Yachting Community “One Hundred Captains” began with the “King of Thailand Cup” regatta, in which we took part in December 2012. Then the understanding was born that chasing rental boats from the Internet is a disastrous business.From the same place, the addiction to the Benetau First 47.7, the boat that won this regatta under the control of one of the Russian crews.

In the spring of 2013 we finally made a decision, settled all organizational issues, bought a boat in Palermo and rushed …

How did you get the Gagarin and why did you name the yacht that way?

We came to Palermo for another boat, we were interested in Benetau First in 4-cabin version 2005. We agreed to go to see “Aldebaran-3” (the former name of “Gagarin”) only out of respect for Philip, a yacht broker who was involved in supporting the transaction.And immediately fell in love with this boat, although it did not suit us for a number of parameters. So the decision was more emotional than pragmatic.

In order to name the boat, we held an online contest among friends on twitter and selected 10 out of about 100 names, after which we almost unanimously chose “Gagarin”.

For us, the personality of Yuri Gagarin is one of the brightest and most recognizable pages of Russian history in the world, a symbol of leadership, courage and a daring challenge to the forces of nature.By giving this name to our yacht, we pay tribute to the memory of our great compatriot.

Tell us about your first trip to the Gagarin. What were your feelings, what was the most memorable?

Palermo-Athens: 600 miles long offshore voyage of three across the Tyrrhenian, Ionian and Aegean Seas. The Italians who accompanied us twirled their fingers to their temples: it seemed to them sheer recklessness to get poisoned on such a trip on a boat, which had stood at the pier in Palermo all his previous life, not leaving the harbor for more than 10 miles.But there was no time for thorough preparations: we filled the boat with water and fuel, loaded 2 bags of provisions from the supermarket and gave up the mooring lines. I was immediately imbued with respect and trust in “Gagarin”: throughout the entire journey, the yacht never let me down.

The story with the swallow was especially memorable from the vivid sensations. In the middle of the Ionian Sea, a hundred miles from the nearest coast, an exhausted swallow nailed to us in stormy weather. She made a dozen attempts to land on the boat, but she was constantly blown away by the wind.In the end, she dared to slip into the wardroom, where she regained consciousness for a day, becoming the favorite of the entire crew. She was even allowed to shit on the navigator’s table – no one received such loyalty either before or after her. On the second day, she began to make test flights, invariably returning. And only when the mountains of the Peloponnese peeped out from the horizon, making a couple of circles over the “Gagarin”, flew away towards the earth.

What water areas has Gagarin already visited? Do you already have significant sporting achievements?

Our native water area is the Mediterranean Sea, we proceeded along and across it, while bypassing only the African coast.Well, and a piece of the Atlantic on the Gibraltar-Madeira, Canary-Gibraltar winter hike.

As far as sports are concerned, we managed to achieve prizes only in amateur competitions. Participation in major international regattas, such as the Rolex Middle Sea Race, has only added experience to our piggy bank so far. So our main achievements are ahead.

What are your plans for the future?

Plans are huge: new water areas (it’s time to look beyond the end of the earth!), New races, new countries, people and cities, new friends and new sailing meetings with old friends.

Everything is completely different here. The stage here, below, can be reached right by hand, and there are no fences, barriers, guards. No, you just walk freely past her, you can go down the steps and take a good look at that modest, cozy home decoration prepared by the guys.

And there is something to see. Take a floor lamp – how often are they brought out on stage? And here he is, and even in the subject: from him pours home-like warm light. I just want to put a chair next to it, climb into it with my feet and start reading a book. For example Jack London. Something so harsh about snow and strong people. About the storm and overcoming. And you are here, at home, in the warmth, by the light of this yellow lamp.

There is a carpet on the floor.One that could have been at home with one of your relatives. Mom’s, or maybe grandma’s. Finally, this picture is completed by a sofa covered with a blanket and a stretched clothesline on which the clothes weigh. It seems to me that such concerts should be held in winter. So angry, cold, gloomy. So that when you come to the hall, you warmed up your soul and body, and then carried the spring into the street and into the souls of people.

Of course, Vera Musaelyan herself did not disappoint. She went on stage.In socks, a white oversized T-shirt and sweatpants. And she sat down on a chair by the microphone just as freely, crossing her legs like a home.

I’m already used to the fact that concerts don’t start on time. A short period of time is always given – to wait for those who are late, or to let the production capacity of the bar counters work out. It was the same here, but not in the usual format in the spirit of “warming up” from another team – Vera simply invites everyone to drink wine, which the guys from the group are already pouring into plastic cups with legs.And then he announces an open microphone so that everyone can read poetry or sing something right from the stage.

And people poured down the stairs of the lecture hall, but not like a stormy destructive stream, not at all. Everything is very peaceful, without malice, with love. All this gave off a friendly warmth, something like that from cramped dorm rooms, wet tents, random compartments. Something that creates the feeling that everyone has known each other for two hundred years.

Of course, having passed through the noisy stream of people, there are heroines and heroes who dare to go up to the stage.Is it a joke to be next to those you love, with those whose songs are always with you? Not only being there, but also performing.

I especially remember the sweet girl, the only one who of all dared to sing. She moved to the rhythms of the music so easily and freely, as if she had spent her whole life on stage. Such expression and presentation, which is difficult to compare with the performances of the groups “opening up”. After all, the girl went on stage to declare herself, to say at the top of her voice: “I love you.This is great”. It was really great.

After the microphone is open, everyone takes their seats, conversations subside, and the lights go out. The time comes for the production itself. This time the guys open the concert with the song “City”. And everything that happens next is very different from the concerts of “Aloe Vera”. There are no jumping, dancing, free people. This time, everyone is a little bit alone with themselves and the lyrical heroine of Vera. From the stage we hear songs that are not performed at other concerts.Most of all sink into the soul of “Swing”. And, in principle, the already familiar repertoire sounds different, because “Awkward” and “Captain” are also woven into the canvas of the narrative, diluted with poetry and a story that is presented to us from the stage. As a result, you see a completely new pattern created from familiar parts.

Vera speaks from the stage, as it seemed, the main idea of ​​”Husbands and Captains” almost at the very beginning:

– I read Tolstoy’s diaries.And after the wedding he wrote there: “Not that.” Indeed, I remember that. It made an impression. I don’t know why. It’s not about me. After all, six months ago, “THIS” was very “THAT”. And two years ago you can’t even imagine how “THIS” was “THAT”.

Vera from the stage broadcasts about her lyrical heroine. And maybe about yourself? Or maybe about you? After all, each of us had such that at the very beginning of a relationship, sometimes walls, beds, a house are not needed, nothing is needed at all, except for the person you are in love with.When you want to get inside a person, devour him, dissolve in him and not let him go anywhere. Never. And then time passes and you read messages like “Buy bread” or “Come out. =) Let’s go to Auchan “.

And a heap of questions remains. To be with their husbands and “Auchan”, or “to run away to the sea, dump the fool” arm in arm with the Captain? And then what about him, he will also become a husband and again everything will be “Buy bread”? But what if passion dissolves into routine, and it turns out that you exchange one for another with the same result? Well, and most importantly, I want to know: how to make sure that husbands remain captains forever.

Despite the fact that the story is about a girl facing a choice, it still touched men’s hearts. I’ve seen at least two guys with tears in their eyes. But why dissemble, his very eyes were on a wet spot. And all why? Do you think we care about choosing between one guy and another? No, we just had our own choice too.

And now everything comes to a logical end.Husbands leave, Captains sail away to conquer the seas. And the question hangs in the air: “What to do then? How to be? ” And Vera gives an answer, the same as herself – light, free, but nevertheless very capacious: “Where one story ends, another necessarily begins.” And you can agree as much as you like or not quite, the essence of things will remain the same. As well as the opinion of the main character, because the story is about her and about her. And you have your own life and you decide how to be with it.

Vera says goodbye to us, the guys bow and leave the stage, and the lights in the hall turn on.And people slowly and thoughtfully leave through the open doors in the spring. To love and be loved. Goodbye Husbands and Captains.

Eight Cup

On Saturday, October 17, the women’s rowing team “SKIF 1Med” took part in these competitions.We would like to note that six people from the crew are beginners, only numbers 7 and 8 (Veronika Ezhova and Olesya Pavlyuk) are veterans of the team! Many thanks to them for sharing their experience with young athletes!

In the “eight” a very important link is the helmsman, who not only controls the boat, but also gives the commands so that the rowers work harmoniously! Today this role went to Ekaterina Grishko – a pioneer of rowing at our university, almost the founder of “SKIF 1Med”! Always ready to help, she sets an excellent example for newcomers!

Our men’s rowing team has shown the best result in the last three years! And this despite being in the line-up of 3 new guys, for whom these competitions were the first!

And in women’s races Olesya Pavlova together with an athlete from the University.Bonch – Bruevich won gold !!! Brilliant result! We sincerely congratulate Olesya!

This year, the annual superfinal of the ACCK competitions was held in Kazan, a beautiful city with a long history and centuries-old traditions! The scope of the event was amazing: performances, music, atmosphere, famous guests, including Elena Isinbaeva – all this was not just the culmination of the long efforts of many student sports clubs from all over Russia, but also a real holiday of students and sports!

From PSPbGMU this year a team of athletes “Panacea” went to the superfinal.On such a significant occasion, I, Pavel S., interviewed Alexander Denisov, a member of our team. So, the interview itself!

P (Pavel): to begin with, please tell me which team do you represent, who you are in it (if you have any gradation), and who are your teammates?

A (Alexander): SSK “Panacea”, track and field athletics team, I am the deputy captain.

P: Good! Tell us, what were your first impressions of your arrival – how the city itself, how the accommodation, were there any problems?

A: Everything was great! Kazan is an amazing city with an ancient history – it is more than 1000 years old.Moreover, he is extraordinarily beautiful. Everything is very clean and colorful. We lived in the Universiade village. In a hostel with other athletes – football players from another region. By the end of the trip, we became friends with them and agreed to live in the same room next year.
True, the beds are a bit narrow. But, this is the only thing that I remember from the problems. The rest is beyond all grades: the organization, infrastructure, sports program, entertainment program, housing, student participants and volunteers are all very friendly.

P: I wonder how the preparations for the super final were going – did you have some time to familiarize yourself with the venue, to practice?

A: The main part of the training, of course, took place in St. Petersburg.
In Kazan, the only thing we managed to do was an evening run of 2 km across the campus on the date of arrival. And we got to the stadium and looked around. The next day we were already running the baton.

P: How did you feel on the day of the final, what was the team’s mood?

A: Well, considering the atmosphere of the pioneer camp for students, there was little excitement.On the contrary, I wanted to act faster in order to relieve myself of the burden of responsibility. However, the team’s attitude remained serious and we were sharpened for a stubborn struggle!

P: After you backed out, as I already understood. it became easier for everyone Probably, after that the well-deserved rest began?

A: Yes, we went to see Kazan. The beauty that fascinated our minds! Of course, we bought chakchaks, horse sausages, walked along Bauman Street (the main pedestrian street), visited the Kremlin.And they just explored the city and admired it.

P: And then, as I understand it, there was already an award?

A: Yes, the award was on Saturday. We also ran a charity marathon. We were also given medals there, regardless of the place.

P: Then everything, is it time to get ready?

A: Yes, we left a little earlier than the others. On Saturday, because the specifics of the university does not allow us to relax for a long time – everyone needs to learn …

P: Was it sad to leave, or did all the positive emotions of those days more than cover it?

A: Naturally sad – no one wanted to leave that unique camp atmosphere.We all believe we will qualify for next year!

P: As I understand, you are looking forward to it?

A: Of course, but you have to work, because nothing ever happens. Everything reaches with sweat and blood!

ROWING NEWS “SKIF 1 MED”

On September 11,
1st stage of the Student rowing league started in St. Petersburg. 29 men’s teams from all over Russia defended the honor of their universities.
September 11 – distance 2500 meters, “Fontanka Cup”
September 12 – 200 m sprint, “Golden Oars”
September 13 – due to bad weather the competition was canceled.

According to the results of two days, our boys took the 19th place, the girls have less competition. They raced only one day on the Golden Oars, won silver!

For the majority, these were the first starts, the girls coped with the task!
The final of the SGL is very soon, October 8-11 in Kazan.

The section has finished the competition season, in which we managed to take part in 3 competitions.

SSK “Panacea” took 3rd place in the rating of the best student sports clubs in St. Petersburg, 50th place among Russian universities

On August 16, the August regatta of the Sails of Russia project took place.2 crews of our university fought for the victory in the competition, in total there were 13 teams from the universities of the city.

The crew of St. Petersburg State University became the winner, the Mining University received silver.
The regatta turned out to be “hot”: the strong west wind turned the regatta into a real sports race, full of adrenaline, waves, wind, splashes and impressions, and made the regatta unforgettable.

Prior to the introduction of the self-isolation regime, the students from the student club held competitions in five sports: “Preliminary stage (intra-university) of the ACSC championship” in streetball, volleyball, badminton, table tennis and athletics.

I would like to note that the number of participants has increased significantly compared to last year! The volleyball tournament was especially massive! We urge all students to become more actively involved in the sports life of the University, follow the news in the Panacea group and participate in various events held by the student sports club.

The winning teams of the intra-university stage will represent our University at city competitions, and if they win, then at all-Russian competitions.

On April 19, the project SSK Panacea “Our teams” was completed. His idea was to support students during the period of self-isolation.The combined teams of our university wrote essays about their achievements, and also gave recommendations for home workouts!

It was important for us, using the example of the guys from the national teams, to show that during forced self-isolation we should not lose heart, we need to keep fit, stay positive and use this time with benefit.

The project is primarily a merit of the guys from the national teams, they took its implementation as seriously and extremely professionally as possible. The guys tried very hard, came up with original ideas for videos of their workouts and now we can say with confidence that everything worked out for them!

More than 50 people from 14 teams took part in the project.This proves once again that the sports community of First Meda is one big friendly family!

With the opening of navigation in our city, the youth project “Sails of Russia” starts. The Argo team of the sailing section of our university is preparing to take part in it.

Children’s camp School of captains (Moscow region, Russia) – prices for vouchers, reviews, shifts, photos, program

Children will also enjoy exciting nature trips, during which they will learn how to make fishing rods from scrap materials, catch and cook fish, set up tents and make fires.In the camp, the child will be able to choose various additional activities to his liking: dancing, drawing, theater workshop, sports shooting, driving an ATV and much more. During the entire shift, the child will not only acquire new skills and pass standards, but also go in for sports, take part in creative competitions, swim and sunbathe.

I stage – Introductory

The first two days and one night, the participants of the program are accommodated in a tent camp in field conditions on a separately fenced area within the general boundaries of the camp.On these days they take an introductory course on the introductory program:

At the end of the test course, children take a test, take a steam bath, change clothes and transfer to their main place of stay – a comfortable two-story cottage with amenities.

The result of the first stage will be the first outing on the water in a fenced sea area in shallow water, during which children will have to put into practice all the knowledge they have acquired.

Stage II – Main

During the main stage, children learn:

• rigging (sails, ropes, knots, ropes)

• rowing theory and practice

Children study:

At the end of the shift, the children will go on a boat trip with an overnight stay, during which they will fish with hand-made fishing rods, bake it over a fire, cook barbecue and flat cakes on the fire.
