5 reasons to choose a summer camp abroad
- Vacation abroad is an opportunity to discover a new country or a new place . All programs of summer camps include excursions . This means that children will be able to visit both famous tourist attractions (for example, Big Ben and the Tower of London) and themed places that convey the local flavor (cheese factory or chocolate factory).
- Language camps abroad include in the program the study of a foreign language . summer schools have developed programs for students with different levels of language proficiency – from beginner to advanced. Upon arrival at summer camp abroad children are tested and assigned to a group according to their level. As a rule, in language camps the principle of English Only works. What does it mean to use English outside of classes. Thus, children from different countries are encouraged to speak English among themselves, with teachers, counselors. Such immersion in the language environment is effective, especially in terms of spoken language.
- Useful leisure and broadening one’s horizons . Programs of summer camps abroad include active leisure. These are classes outside the classroom – sports, creativity, thematic programs, excursions. Children develop comprehensively by practicing new skills, hobbies in English.
- New friends from different countries . Intercultural communication skills, international mindset are important in our globalized world. Best of all, these skills are developed organically – through joint activities and study with children from different countries.
- Experience of independence . An independent trip to camp abroad is always exciting for both parents and children. The organization of life, building relationships with peers, resolving contentious issues, if any arise – such experience instills independence and responsibility . With the support of qualified teachers, teenagers learn to better understand themselves and others, find solutions and compromises.
