This past summer, Towers received the 2019 Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) Coach of the Year Award, was a 3x All-American (2X 1st Team AA Midfield, 1X HM at Attack) at
Brown University, a Major League Lacrosse (MLL) All-Star for the Boston
Cannons, and inducted into both the US Lacrosse CT HOF and
the Brown University Athletic HOF.
Coach Towers has specially designed this camp to accelerate the
improvement of each camper’s stick skills and overall understanding
of the game of lacrosse through a variety of skill work, IQ development
drills, and games in a fun and safe environment.
Camp Curriculum:
This
camp is specially designed for players looking to take their game to
the next level. The primary focus of this event is to use instruction,
drills, competitions, and games to accelerate the improvement of each
attendee’s skill set and overall understanding of the game. In addition,
there will be a heavy and perpetual emphasis on developing the
respective intangibles (being coachable, a great teammate,

The Program
The team is a perennial ISL contender and has won a total of 13 ISL titles, the most in the ISL since the founding of the league in 1989. Since 2003, Belmont Hill has won six ISL titles, most recently in 2017. Since 2013, the team has compiled a 139-18 record and won four ISL Titles, including back-to-back-to-back championships in 2015, 2016, and 2017.
The Coach
Prior to Belmont Hill, Coach Tim Sullivan was the head coach at St. Luke’s in New Canaan, CT, and was voted Fairchester Athletic Association Coach of the Year in 2005 and 2007. His teams made the New England Small School playoffs three consecutive years during his tenure.
Coach Sullivan is in his fifteenth year as the head coach of the lacrosse team at Belmont Hill. He was named ISL Coach of the Year in 2013 and 2016. While at Belmont Hill, his teams have compiled a 169-36 record, ten players have been named All-American or Academic All-American and 97 players have been recognized by the ISL as All League or All League Honorable Mention.
He has posted a 215-58 record as a head lacrosse coach.

Philosophy
Belmont Hill’s lacrosse program has a proud history. Founded in 1983, the team would join the ISL when it was formed in 1989. “We stress excellence in multiple areas, beginning in the classroom,” coach Tim Sullivan notes. “Pride, character, work ethic, and love of the game are all hallmarks of Belmont Hill lacrosse.”
Over the last fifteen seasons, the team’s preseason and out of league schedule has included Exeter Academy, Northfield Mount Hermon, Brewster Academy, Deerfield Academy, Xaverian Brothers, St. John’s Prep, Darien High School, Duxbury High School, Greenwich High School, Avon Old Farms, Westminster School, Taft School, Hill School (Pa), and Brunswick School.

Meet the Coaches
- Timothy Sullivan
Head Coach
Mr. Sullivan joined Belmont Hill’s faculty in 2008 as a teacher in the Mathematics Department and recently served as the department chair. In 2023, Mr. Sullivan became the Director of the Middle School. From 2014-2019 he held The Drucker Family Chair. He is the current holder of the Michael T. Sherman Chair in Mathematics (2022-2026.) He is the head coach for Varsity Lacrosse and an assistant coach for Varsity Football, and supervises weight training.
- Christopher Butler
Mr. Butler joined Belmont Hill in 1999 and teaches Chemistry and AP Chemistry. He coaches Varsity Football and Lacrosse. Mr. Butler is the current holder (2019-2024) of the Thomas R. Fuss Chair in Science. Established in 2007 in memory of Tom Fuss ’07 by his parents, RoseMary and Dan Fuss, this chair honors a faculty member for excellence in the teaching of science and for a broad commitment to students and school life.
- Dixon Hargrove
Mr. Hargrove joined our Mathematics Department to teach four sections of math and to coach two seasons of sports. He was previously at Salisbury School, where he taught precalculus, honors precalculus, AP statistics, and economics and strived to foster a love of mathematics and critical thinking and build resilience in problem-solving. At Salisbury, he served as the head coach of JV lacrosse, and assistant coach of both varsity soccer and third hockey; served as a resident dorm parent and faculty advisor; and supervised student activities on campus. Prior to Salisbury School, Mr. Hargrove worked at Bain & Company, where he led a team of Williams College alumni and recruited coordinators to help teach students about the consulting field. He holds his M.B.A. from Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and a B.A. in Economics from Williams College. In 2017, he served as a Belmont Hill varsity lacrosse volunteer assistant coach.

Description:
the school is located on the basis of Pine Manor College, which covers an area of 60 acres of land and is located in the respectable Chestnut Hill area, which is a 20-minute drive from downtown Boston. On the basis of the school there are large and bright, fully equipped classrooms, a MAC zone, student lounges, a large library, and a cafeteria. Students can use the fitness center, football fields, softball field, golf course, tennis courts. The nearest station is located 10 minutes walk from the campus. Downtown Boston is about 30 minutes on the subway.

Curriculum:
Intensive English course program includes 28 lessons per week. It was created for those guys who want to understand how to create and how business works in America . In the mornings, the guys have English classes, in which the guys read, write, listen, speak, communicate, replenish vocabulary, practice grammar skills and punctuation, study business terminology and startup culture, learn how to make presentations and written business ethics, create business cases.
Basic subjects studied :
- characteristics of entrepreneurship,
- US small business,
- how to start a business project,
- writing a business plan,
- the role of society
In the afternoon, twice a week from 13. 30 to 16.30, the guys attend entrepreneurial classes, where they discuss various business topics, prepare written projects, watch videos and then discuss it. Once every two weeks, the guys are taken on an educational trip, where they can study the work of startups, talk with people from the business environment.
For example, trips can be arranged:
