Students will hone their skills and learn from experienced teachers and graduate students.
The camp fosters the excitement of developing skills on an orchestral string instrument
and is open to students who have completed one year of instruction.
Rising 5th- through 10th-graders: June 26-30
Kids learn the art of props, makeup, costumes, scenery and musical preparation in
this weeklong experience.
Rising 9th- through 12th-graders: July 8-18
Students will receive immersive musical theatre training in vocal technique, acting,
and dance. Expert USC faculty and Broadway professionals will lead two student cohorts
including middle and high school students and college-bound high school juniors and
seniors who wish to major in musical theatre.

The jazz intensive provides aspiring high school jazz students with experiences in
ensembles, improvisation, history, rhythm training and private lessons with USC’s
jazz faculty.
Students will learn new repertoire, musical skills and develop new relationships
with mentors and peers.
June 18-24
Advanced high school students of brass, jazz, percussion, piano, strings, voice and
woodwinds can participate in this intensive one-week training period for both day
and boarding students.
Beginner Camp (Ages 5-8): June 26-30
Beginner camp is for students with less than three years of piano study.
Camp Creativity (Ages 9-14): July 10-14
Camp Creativity is open to students who have taken piano for at least three years.
Carolina Music Studios
Carolina Music Studios offers private instruction in: Brass, Guitar, Percussion, Strings,
Voice and Woodwinds.
Various group classes are offered in KinderFlute for children ages 4 throughout fifth
grade and beginner guitar classes for students ages 6-18.
Ballet and Contemporary Intensives: July 5-22
Jazz Intensive: July 23-28
This program provides three-week intensives in either ballet, contemporary dance or
jazz for students 11 and older. Participants must audition to be accepted into the
program.
Music Play classes at the USC’s Children’s Music Development Center are part of an
innovative program designed to develop the music potential of young children from
newborns to 3-year-olds.

University Test Prep is hosting continuing education sessions and conferences to prepare
students for the SAT or ACT.

The Discover California summer vacation program takes place at Citrus College in Los Angeles, located at the foot of the San Gabriel Mountains in the Glendora area. This program is a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the life of Southern California and its inhabitants, as well as world-famous attractions – Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Disneyland Universal Studios and Santa Monica. And all this with new friends from around the world!
Citrus College, one of California’s oldest colleges, is located just minutes from downtown Los Angeles in the conveniently located suburb of Glendora, at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains. Students will learn English in small classes with highly qualified teachers. A rich program of events includes musical and theatrical performances, festivals and themed days. Swimming enthusiasts will surely enjoy the Olympic pool, and musicians will enjoy the recording studio.
Carefully selected host families will give you a real understanding of American culture and help you develop your speaking skills to the next level. Duration of 1 lesson: 50 minutes (in groups no more than 15 people)

Discover California-Citrus College
1. Discover California – combines English classes with a varied entertainment and excursion program. In addition to conversational English and grammar lessons, participants learn about American culture and history. The course is designed for teenagers from 13 years old and youth of student age. Includes 20 English lessons per week and a rich excursion and entertainment program.
Duration: 3 weeks
Hosted at FLS Citrus College, half an hour from downtown Los Angeles, this program combines English classes with a variety of activities and excursions.
In addition to conversational English and grammar lessons, participants learn about American culture and history.
Sports activities: badminton, volleyball, baseball, basketball, football, table tennis, tennis, golf, swimming.
Tour program: Hollywood, Pasadena, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Disneyland, Universal Studios, Chinatown, Huntington Library Education and Research Center, downtown Los Angeles, USC Tour – visiting the University of Southern California (one of the best universities in California), Little Tokio, shopping at Victoria Gardens, Huntington Beach.
ACCOMMODATION
1. In American families (children under 15 are required), double occupancy. The maximum time from family to college is 25 minutes. In the morning, the family takes the children to school and back, or the school bus. Meals: breakfast and dinner in the family on weekdays, three meals a day on weekends. Lunch for a fee in the college cafeteria.
