Rogue Ales & Spirits has been brewing their iconic Dead Guy Ale for nearly three decades, captivating beer enthusiasts across the United States. This Halloween season, Rogue is celebrating the evolution of their beloved brew with a special promotion and the introduction of new Dead Guy-inspired products.
Dead Guy Ale first emerged in the early 1990s, quickly becoming a cornerstone of Rogue’s lineup and introducing many to the world of craft beer. Its popularity has only grown over the years, with the Dead Guy brand expanding to include several variations and even a whiskey.

What Sets Double Dead Guy Apart?
- Higher alcohol content (9% ABV)
- Deeper, more complex flavor profile
- Distinctive 22 oz pink bottle
Double Dead Guy Ale boasts a rich, full-bodied taste that beer aficionados describe as a symphony of flavors. The deep amber copper color hints at the robust experience to come. On the nose, notes of buttery peanut brittle and orange blossom tea entice the senses. The first sip reveals a chewy, fruity fullness with hints of caramel-drizzled dried apricot, roasted grains, and subtle spices. The finish is long and tangy, with lingering notes of grilled grapefruit and chocolate.

The Brew Tube: Rogue Double Dead Guy Ale And LCROSS Impact
Bueno lax nation! Today I have a very special edition of The Brew Tube – an edition that is all about unique events that are taking place right now. The first: Rogue Brewery’s yearly double dead guy ale.
I considered reviewing the standard dead guy (though there’s nothing standard about it), but I knew that soon enough we would have the privilege of indulging in the bliss that is the double dead guy ale. This stuff is hard to miss in its 22 Oz pink bottle, but once you’re done you’ll surely be missing the beer it contained. This beer is one of the most flavorful beers I’ve ever had, and we all know I’ve had my fair share. In fact, I couldn’t do it enough justice without reposting Rogue’s own description of the taste:

“Deep amber copper color. Buttery peanut brittle, orange blossom tea aromas follow through to a rich chewy and fruity full body with nice notes of caramel drizzled dried apricot and roasted grains and spice. Finishes with a long, tangy grilled grapefruit and chocolate fade.”
And if that wasn’t enough, it is rocking a 9% ABV, so you’ll be feeling just fine whilst you sip, as I am right now!
Double Dead Guy Ale
So, with all that said, it is time to bring up the second unique event: NASA’s LCROSS mission. Now it is no YouTube video, but it is surely worthy of the spot. Clearly the name has a bit of relevance on this blog, but it stands for Lunar CRater Observation and Sensing Satellite.
One might even draw a less obvious connection: it is going to be one hell of an impact, which we are all familiar with. For those of you who haven’t heard by now, NASA is going to literally bomb the moon from space with a satellite’s spent upper rocket stage, and observe the 10 Km high plume of moon dust that it will kick up.
Once they’re done with that, the satellite is going to follow suit and crash into the surface as well, so scientists can observe that impact from Earth. All this is taking took place at 4:30AM PDT on Oct 9. I know most of us aren’t crazy enough to get up and watch real-time (like me!), so you can watch the footage on NASA’s website below. The goal is to observe whether or not there is water ice under the surface, but let’s be real: the moon has had it coming for a long time. And it looks like this time, NASA is…shooting for the moon? Prost!

“Dead Guy Ale” (German Maibock) Rogue Ales
As I’ve written before, when any company can connect their values with mine, it portends a great experience. So with a bottle cap that reads “Dedicated to the Rogue in Each of Us” and with the trilogy of high-power words around the neck, of Dare * Risk * Dream, I was already impressed.
I then did a little reading on Rogue Ale’s website and found that these are not just words, but “Dare” and “Risk” are also names of two of their own proprietary malts …. I also learned that they have an outlook that reminds me a lot of our local Beau’s in terms of community, devotion to team, and commitment to quality. Read this, their “Creed” — and then read their “agreement” and “values” that follow:
Rogue is a small revolution, which expresses itself through handcrafted Ales, Porters, Stouts, Lagers and Spirits, and this is the way we conduct our business.
The spirit of the Rogue brand, even the name, suggests doing things differently, a desire and a willingness to change the status quo. A Rogue Ale, Porter, Stout, Lager or Spirit is crafted to give it unique character, innovative in its makeup and brewing, a process that has not compromised quality. We believe if a Rogue Ale, Porter, Stout, Lager or Spirit cannot be all of these things, it should not be made at all.
They certainly set a very high bar for themselves, indeed. I was even more impressed….
I actually picked this beer up a few months ago intending it review it as part of my Ales Bells series. After all, I had heard so much about this brewer, renowned for many world-ranked beers, including some pale ales of exceptional esteem. And it seemed a great addition to the line-up, a German beer, a Maibock “ale” from a company called “Rogue Ales.” Then I discovered that contrary to anything written on the label, a Maibock is actually a lager; it’s not an ale at all. However, Rogue claimed that they did this in an “ale style.” So you can see my conundrum: is it an ale because it uses top fermenting as a method, or is it a lager because it calls itself a Maibock?
So, flip the inspirational cap, and what does it reveal?
Well, as soon as I poured the beer, I knew the dominant characteristic of this beer was going to be its malts. You could easily pick up the unmistakeable aroma of the malts. For lack of another term, it smelled like “beer” … and while this won’t do it justice, it is the sweet residual smell of beer that sticks around long after it has been drank. Those are the malts I smelled, sugary and sweet.
The pour was beautiful: good carbonation, not too dynamic, and a beautiful dark-golden/light-amber colour with a bit of sediment … the good stuff. Off the nose, it is sweetness with the hint of a beautifully freshly baked bread (the sugars and yeast being the triggers for this scent memory) with just a hint of fruit. All in all, a lot to remind me of the smells of a candied/caramel apple. I was drooling before I took a sip.
For all the malts, however, that first sip was not an over-powering sweet bomb like so many malty German-inspired brews. The hops provide balance from start to finish, which is impressive given that the beer doesn’t taste overly hoppy … but still, there are very decent hops in this pour. In the middle, there is some melon, some pepper, definitely some alcohol, and a creamy toffee mid-finish, sweet and very very smooth. And the ending? The hops come to the centre stage, cleanse the palette, wash away the sugars, and leave you wanting another long sip. Yum.
Ultimately, I think this a beer that is well named: Dead Guy. Why? Well, because I think it is a bit like the powerful fright of stumbling across a corpse before calm sets in and you realize it can’t hurt you. (Laugh with me … please). Really, this a beer with great personality, not shy, clearly with elements and structure, but with incredible balance and smoothness. Some beers find the balance or even the smoothness … some find personality and spirit. Rarely do you find a beer that can pull them all off to produce a beer that is truly world-class and memorable and be a company that you want champion. A tough act to follow ….

“Spy Kids”
and “Machete”
Dimension Films / 20th Century Fox
Yes, yes, the good-natured master-uncle from Spy Children and the cold-blooded hitman Machete are one and the same person. Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino are longtime friends and have worked together on several films.
Initially, this character appeared in the Rodriguez family adventure film, and then, as a joke, accidentally appeared in the “advertising trailer” of the film “Grindhouse”. Oddly enough, the audience liked the comic video, and so two parts of a thrash action movie with Danny Trejo in the title role – “Machete” and “Machete Kills” were born.
Quentin Tarantino Double Universe
Miramax Films / Live Entertainment
For many years, fans of Quentin’s films have been building the most incredible and unimaginable theories about his films and, naturally, the main one was the cinematic universe, in which all the heroes of his filmography lived. In 2016, Tarantino partially confirmed this theory – he said that the heroes of his films live in two cinematic universes – the “real” one, in which most of the heroes live, and the “cinematic” – which the heroes of the first universe watch on screens.
“If my characters, for example, from” Reservoir Dogs “or” Pulp Fiction “are going to the movies, then they are likely to see” Kill Bill “-
explains the director.
“Star Wars”
and “Alien”
This crossover was pre-planned by Spielberg and Lucas. Most viewers probably don’t know or remember that this is the first time we hear the name “Boba Fett” from the lips of Elliot, the protagonist of “Alien.” You may remember the scene in which the alien meets a child dressed as Yoda, reaches out to him and exclaims “Home!” It was one of the many Easter eggs hidden by Spielberg. In addition, various toys from the Star Wars series can be found in Elliot’s room. In Close Encounters of the Third Degree, a model R2-D2 can be seen hanging from a spaceship, and in Raiders of the Lost Ark, both R2 and C-3PO are depicted in Egyptian hieroglyphics.
Lucas supported the theme and featured several aliens in The Phantom Menace. There is also a non-canon prequel novel for the first episode, Shroud of Lies, which states that the alien senator from the first episode is called Greblips (Spielberg’s last name, written the other way around) and that he sent an expedition out of the galaxy. Other materials from the so-called “Expanded Universe” mention that Greblips was in opposition to Emperor Palpatine and was arrested shortly after the events of the third episode.
Split and Invincible
Blinding Edge Pictures / Touchstone Pictures
Fans of M. Night Shyamalan’s films were pleasantly surprised by the appearance in the thriller “Split” by David Dunn, the invulnerable hero of Bruce Willis. At the very end of the tape, we see how visitors to a small cafe watch on TV a report on the crimes of Kevin (who was nicknamed “Horde”), and one of them compares Kevin to a certain terrorist in a wheelchair who was arrested 15 years ago. Sitting next to him, aged Dunn calls him by his nickname – “Mr. Glass”.
This time Shyamalan not only left the Easter eggs for the most attentive, but altogether hinted at his future film – “Glass”, in which Kevin and David will come together.
Every Pixar cartoon
In January of this year, Pixar confirmed all fan theories about the integrity of its universe and posted a short video with visual evidence:
“Trading Places” and “A Trip to America”
Paramount pictures
In the 1983 film Trading Places, two brothers – Mortimer and Randolph Duke (Don Amici and Ralph Bellamy) – start an argument: can an ordinary vagabond on the street run a large company? For the sake of experiment, they deliberately swap the positions of street crook Billy Ray (Eddie Murphy) and company manager Louis (Dan Aykroyd). Naturally, in the course of the film, the “guinea pigs” guess about the dispute and take revenge on the Duke brothers.
In 1988, the film “A Trip to America” was released, in which the hero Eddie Murphy gives two homeless people, very similar to the Duke brothers, a wad of money. One of them exclaims: “Mortimer, we are back in the ranks!”
Daredevil and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Yes, the Turtles appeared “thanks” to the same accident as Matt Murdoch’s blindness. According to the creators of TMNT Kevin Eastman and Peter Lairdd, they came up with the concept of the origin story of the Turtles in 1983, building on the first issue of 1963 “Daredevil”.According to the plot of the comic, a truck with radioactive waste is about to drive into an innocent pedestrian. Suddenly, a young Murdoch appears on the road, pushes a passer-by and becomes the victim of an accident himself.
This is where the turtles come in: Master Splinter, recalling the appearance of reptiles in the sewers, tells how one of the barrels of chemicals got into a child with an aquarium. The aquarium crashed and the turtles, together with glass and substances, fell first onto the roadway, and then into the sewer.

To the release of the thriller “The Mechanic: Resurrection” KinoPoisk recalls in what other films the heroes pretended to be dead in order to hide from enemies or friends.
ATTENTION: THE TEXT IS FULL OF SPOILERS!
Death on the screen does not always mean that someone really died. Sometimes the characters resort to some unthinkable tricks in order to play someone’s (most often their) death and thereby just save the skin of the imaginary deceased. For example, in the sequel “Mechanics” with Jason State, the protagonist got so much into faking deaths that it cost him nothing to build a large-scale explosion of a bridge and swim with scuba diving in order to get his business partner out of the mess.
But this is not the most elaborate fiction of death in cinematography. All sorts of swindlers in films – from the villainous Bane in The Dark Knight to the devil himself in The Devil itself – now and then resort to this trick to powder the mind of the enemy, and sometimes the gullible viewer. There are many fake deaths on the screen, for every taste. But we will focus on those projects in which the heroes pretend that they have sailed to the forefathers, but in fact lay low and hide from enemies. We didn’t include trick deaths (like Doc Brown in Back to the Future) or magical resurrections from the ashes (like Gandalf in The Lord of the Rings), otherwise there won’t be enough space on the Internet.
1. Johnny Kelly Hooker and Henry Shaw Gondorff, “Scam”
Any self-respecting swindler should be able to stage his own death. In George Roy Hill’s film, adorable con men Hooker (Robert Redford) and Gondorff (Paul Newman) played out a multi-shot crossfire combination. Both turned out to be a little dead on the floor of the bookmaker’s building, so that the influential mafioso, who had lost a lot of money, would not take it into his head to linger there and scandalize, but quickly disappeared from the scene of the shootout. The perfect finish to Hooker and Gondorff’s already successful cheating careers.
2. Nick Fury, Captain America: The Other War
Believe it or not: they killed Nick Fury! One of the main characters of the Marvel Cinematic Universe received many gunshot wounds and was helpless and unhappy on the operating table. As soon as we all begin to get used to this thought, while remembering when Sam Jackson’s contract expires, Fury opened his eyes and tore his head off the pillow. He planned his death to undermine HYDRA’s activities undercover. Exhale: Fury is more alive than all living things, and we will see him many more times in sequels, crossovers and spin-offs.
3. Nick Parsons, “Double Miscalculation”
What’s the best way to get out of an unhappy marriage and make tons of money in the process? Nick Parsons (Bruce Greenwood) in Double Miscalculation had a great plan to catch two birds with one stone: to insure his life for a large sum, to fake his own death, and at the same time frame his wife Libby (Ashley Judd).Together they went swimming on a yacht, but the husband disappeared, and the wife woke up covered in blood, with a knife in her arms and with the coast guard on the way. It turned out that Nick hadn’t thought of everything, and Libby, convicted of a failed murder, served time in prison with benefit. Six years later, she achieved early release and decided to find Nick in order to actually kill the bastard. Moreover, she can do this even in the middle of Times Square, and she will get nothing for it. Thanks to the fifth amendment to the US Constitution, which states that a person cannot be tried twice for the same crime.
4. Sherlock Holmes, Sherlock Holmes: A Play of Shadows
Sherlock is immortal in every sense. He will always be present in pop culture and is unlikely to ever die in one of the many film adaptations. Perhaps only for fun. In the sequel to Guy Ritchie’s film, at the climax of the confrontation with Moriarty, Sherlock (Robert Downey Jr.) fell into a waterfall hugging his foe. And he did it so thoughtfully that even Watson (Jude Law) never doubted the death of his friend. The prepared audience did not doubt either, because it was precisely such a death for Holmes that Arthur Conan Doyle composed. But Downey’s character turned out to be extremely clever. He survived the fall and even learned to disguise himself as the upholstery of a chair in the grieving Watson’s office.
5. Jim Phelps, Mission: Impossible
The Tom Cruise espionage franchise is filled with intelligence agents and disguise experts who are adept at faking deaths. In almost every part, at least someone does not die seriously. However, the pioneer in this matter was Jim Phelps (Jon Voight) in the very first film.Phelps died in a picturesque way, performing the task, but in fact he turned out to be not only alive, but also a double agent – the very mole, to expose which Ethan Hunt and his team threw all their strength. In the finale, however, he was still overtaken by death in a burning helicopter, but by that time Phelps had managed to sell a number of important state secrets and kill his wife.
6. James Bond, You Only Live Twice
The title of one of the best parts of the Bond film informs right from the doorstep that the film will have a fake death. The position of a secret agent, of course, often implies working undercover, but here James Bond (Sean Connery) had to cover himself so carefully that the special services had to fake his death. Yes, and throw his body into the sea for greater persuasiveness. But it was all part of an elaborate plan to allow 007 to freely spy on the Japanese in search of their landing spacecraft. Since then, the theme of staged deaths has often surfaced in Bond films. Suffice it to recall the miraculous resurrection of Sean Bean in The Golden Eye.
7. John Kramer, Saw: The Survival Game
John Kramer (Tobin Bell) was so confident in the persuasiveness of his pretense that he was supposedly dead for much of the movie. He did not even try to hide, but lay right in the middle of the room in front of the main characters, but this made it even more difficult to believe in his fake death. In addition, he had a partly quite noble mission – to make the rest of the characters appreciate life when death looks them right in the eyes.He chose a scapegoat for himself (Michael Emerson), fooled all the participants in the process, including the audience, and at the end he got up, revealed the truth and left beautifully with the words “Game over”.
The famously staged deaths in the films In Bed with the Enemy (Laura), Transformers 3: The Dark Side of the Moon (Autobots), The Third Man (Harry Lime), Thor 2: The Kingdom of Darkness (Loki), Nikita (Nikita), Megamind (Machomen).
“Herman Schmerman” took root in Moscow – Culture – Kommersant
At the end of the calendar year, the Bolshoi presented the premiere of two one-act plotless ballets: Herman Schmerman by William Forsyth and Rubies by George Balanchine.According to TATIANA KUZNETSOVA, fresh acquisitions open up new opportunities for the development of the Bolshoi troupe.
William Forsyth, a living classic whose name in the ballet world has become synonymous with the intellectual avant-garde, is staged by the Bolshoi for the first time. And not by the will of their ballet leaders: artistic director Burlaka, choreographer Grigorovich, and the main herd of tutors, formed in deep Soviet times, shun the pernicious influence of the West. The program, in which the neoclassicist Balanchine is side by side with the deconstructivist Forsythe, appeared in the repertoire at the initiative of the theater management, acting with an eye to the experience of the Mariinsky in the mid-2000s.At that time, it was precisely the reliance on Forsyth’s avant-garde ballets, reinforced by Balanchine’s fundamental legacy, that earned the Petersburgers a reputation as the most progressive troupe in Russia.
The context, however, is different: if at the Mariinsky the appeal to foresight ballets was a conceptual project, an important part of the theater’s well-thought-out strategy, then the foresight at the Bolshoi is just one of the branches of the wild-growing repertory thicket. The choreographer himself also reacted differently to Russian performances: in St. Petersburg he personally formed the compositions and rehearsed himself. He did not come to Moscow at all, entrusting the whole process to his assistant Noah Gelber. Unlike the Petersburgers, who got the choreographer’s program opuses, Moscow got not his most famous ballet. The ten-minute Herman Schmerman was staged 18 years ago for the five leading dancers of the New York City Ballet. Four months later, the quintet was joined by a duet composed by Forsyth in his own troupe, the Frankfurt Ballet. In total, it took 20 minutes for a cool dance, in which, according to the choreographer himself, “there is no sense”, as well as in the title, borrowed from the parody comedy “Dead men do not wear blankets”, in which the hero of Steve Martin pronounces this “lovely” phrase …
At the premiere at the Bolshoi, it turned out that “Herman Schmerman” is not at all as simple as the author presented it. The quintet seems to have been specially created to shame skeptics who question the genetic relationship of Forsyth and Balanchine. In essence, it is a reworking of two Balanchine ballets: from “Agon” Forsyth took a general composition, from “Rubies” – specific steps. He split the textbook text into elements of words-movements, left those without which he could not be identified, and on their basis he composed a new text – recognizable, but different. However, it is possible that the pragmatic Forsyth simply used the acquired skills of the Balanchine artists, so as not to waste time on retraining the creative staff. In any case, the demagnetized duo, in which the partners seem to compete with each other, who will dislocate their limbs more risky, is stylistically very different from the energetic quintet, which features quite classical pas such as jete, antrash, tours and attitudes, albeit re-orchestrated in an avant-garde manner.
A harsh casting held in the Bolshoi troupe revealed that luminaries and corps de ballet are mainly capable of modern language: only one soloist, Denis Savin, was included in the first cast of “Herman Schmerman”.In a duet, this favorite of Alexei Ratmansky dances so uninhibited and selflessly, as if all his life he dealt with foresight choreography, and did not play minuet in the guise of a silly Gamache every poster “Don Quixote”. Anna Okuneva made a worthy match for him. The hitherto unknown girl from the corps de ballet struck by not at all amazing natural data, allowing her to tie in a knot and shoot lovely legs in any direction, and not even with bodily wisdom, which allowed her to grasp the principles of foresight anti-ballet algebra. Her acting intuition is surprising, thanks to which the duet did not overcome a series of physical obstacles, but turned out to be a witty dialogue between two stubborn, frustrating youths.
The quintet had its own heroes. And the first of them is the leading figure Alexei Matrakhov, who danced so powerfully, maturely, brightly and freely that he could easily count on a premier position in any Western troupe. As if wondering at themselves, the light-footed, perfectly coordinated Anna Tikhomirova and Andrei Bolotin, worked with desperate daring and frank joy.The five debutants were rallied by the “dancing coach” Anastasia Yatsenko – this first soloist, known for her accuracy in conveying the stylistic features of any choreography, got the part-time duties of a tutor. And only Yulia Grebenshchikova turned out to be a weak link in this company: a tall, loose, with long but heavy legs, the coryphaean clearly did not pronounce the text, not keeping up with the electronic twists of Tom Willems’ music.
It became clear after Balanchine’s Rubies, a ballet, albeit sophisticated, but still not as unusual as Herman Schmerman, how serious the achievements of the Moscow “foresight men” were. The Bolshoi failed to recruit the required number of artists capable of conveying the chic and pranks of choreography. The four soloists – slender, tall, handsome boys accompanying the soloist in the adagio – moved around her like a bunch of zombies for whom everything human is in the past. Eight luminaries with submissive diligence portrayed a lively cheerfulness. Soloist Ekaterina Shipulina vainly reproduced the habits of a femme fatale: bodily constraint overlapped all her mimic efforts.
Rubies were pulled out by the main pair. Moreover, Vyacheslav Lopatin, who perfectly coped with the technical casuistry of the game, deliberately faded into the background, not entering into rivalry with his lady and being satisfied with the role of a devoted and enthusiastic gentleman. Natalia Osipova reigned on the stage. She danced imperiously, seductively and ecstatically – as if the ballet had been staged yesterday and only for her. Everything that her predecessors thought was awkward or illogical – like pens coquettishly curled up like tobacco chicken wings or outlines in arabesque with a head lowered to the floor – looked natural to the ballerina Osipova, like a natural phenomenon. She turned any jump into a typhoon, any rotation into a whirlpool. In the adagio, she twisted her legs out of the joints and easily set them back, and in the intervals between extreme steps she did not forget to gracefully swing in a stylized minuet. In essence, Osipova danced Balanchine as a Forsythe (she prepared the duet from Herman Schmerman in the second cast), and Balanchine did not resist this at all: so much “foresight” was suddenly revealed in his choreography that neoclassicism could be considered deconstructivists.

VANPUNCHMAN: 10 FACTS YOU DIDN’T KNOW ABOUT THE RELATIONSHIP OF SITE AND GENOS
several incredibly popular anime series that have proven to be enduring classics – not just passing trends – and One-Punch Man is definitely one of the most notable titles. brilliantly pokes fun at the shounen genre as well as paying tribute. He’s full of dozens of exaggerated yet powerful crime fighters – sSaitama was the foremost among them.
Saitama is so powerful that he usually does not need to resort to teamwork to defeat an enemy, but he befriends Genos, a noble cyborg. One-Punch Man is full of big battles, but the connection between Saitama and Genos is satisfying to the point that they are some of the nicest anime duos out there.
10Saitama saved Genos from self-destruction
Genos had a brave story before joining Saitama, but the circumstances of their first meeting created an inspiring origin story. Genos cannot defeat the predatory monster, Mosquito Girl. CHASON prepares for self-destruction when he sees no other way to victory.
At this point, Saitama intervenes and prevents the destruction of Genos, easily disposes of the Mosquito Girl and keeps the peace nearby. If Saitama hadn’t shown up at the right time, Genos would have been scrapped.
9 Their mentor-student relationship is based on a joke
One of the most compelling details about Genos is that he is full of honor, despite his robotic nature, and has even more humanity than real humans. Genos is humiliated when Saitama first comes to his aid in battle and insists on training with Saitama.
He accepts Genos’s offer, but thinks it’s a joke.He is not looking for a student or someone to follow in his footsteps, but Genos’s commitment leads to a weakening of Saitama’s resolve in this matter, and he begins to accept his role as a teacher.
8They are both members of Blizzard’s new group.
One-Punch Man stands out when it comes to the varied dynamics that exist between the many characters inhabiting the anime. Some people are unhappy with each other, but others merge wisely. Both Saitama and Genos are part of the select people included in Fubuki’s New Blizzard Group, also colloquially known as the Saitama Group.

The group consists of several heroes that Saitama values - Kinga, Banga, Bomba, and Fubuki. The group’s activities usually include video game matches and picnics at Saitama’s apartment, but Genos is proud to be a member of this association.

7Genos decides to get rid of Saitama’s baldness
An almost constant danger is present in One-Punch Man , but Saitama is usually a calm person. However, his only area of sensitivity is his baldness – especially after his hero name became Caped Baldy.
Genos notices this insecurity and periodically tries to cure this ailment for him, although he accepted it and is out of Genos’s control. This comes across as a comedic relief, but it’s still nice to see Genos worried about it.
6Genos shares his S-class hero skills with Saitama
One-Punch Man has a regimented system for his heroes that ideally leaves Hero Associatio more prepared for danger. However, it also endows the most respected and hardworking people with certain privileges in society.
Genos is an S-class hero, but because Saitama rarely admits his victories, he is stuck in a B-class. Genos knows that Saitama doesn’t care about praise, but he still graciously lets him enjoy his perks because Saitama values the beautiful things in life.
5They live together
Saitama and Genos are two incredible people who have saved the world several times, but they are also very humble about their living conditions.Saitama lives in a comfortable, quirky apartment that lacks many extravagant luxury items.

Genos’s origins are linked to Dr. Kuseno and his sterile lab, but Saitama’s student unofficially moves in with him. Genos is always at Saitama’s apartment, and is the same base of operations as Saitama’s. Saitama, opening to share his confined space with Genos, once again reflects their convergence as a team.
4Genos helps perpetuate the Saitama Hero Association ‘hoax’
One-Punch Man adds an interesting dimension of bureaucracy and heroic status to anime. All the strongest heroes are ranked and cataloged to best respond to them. future threats of monsters.
Saitama is often in charge of eliminating the threat, but he humbly declines the credit and allows others to raise their rank in the Hero’s Association in his place. Genos has nothing but respect for Saitama’s honor, and even though he wants to be seen as a powerful leader, he is still willing to disguise Saitama’s victories in order to support his partner’s ideology.
3Many of Saitama’s life lessons for Genos are impromptu
Saitama and Genos are such a funny odd couple who value the same ideals, yet remain very different people. Saitama appreciates Genos and wants to really be able to turn him into a stronger hero, but he struggles to improve his apprentice.
All of Saitama’s lessons are applicable to physical strength training, which has nothing to do with Genos. because he is a cyborg.Saitama tries to compensate for this with improvised lessons that start out as an exercise but sometimes turn into safe wisdom that helps Genos in battle.
two Genos motivates Saitama to become a better hero
At first glance, it seems that the relationship between Saitama and Genos is rather one-sided, and that Genos idolized Saitama almost to an unhealthy degree. However, both of these heroes benefit a lot from friendship, even if it’s not immediately clear.
Saitama is strong, but he is very apathetic towards the Hero Association and jumps through the hoop for them.He admits that Genos is quickly reaching S-Class status, and it inspires him to work harder, even if he doesn’t explicitly admit it.
1Their one big battle reveals the secret of Saitama’s strength
Saitama and Genos are not always together One-Punch Man , but there is an implicit understanding between them, and it is very good to see how their affection for each other grows stronger. One of the One-Punch Man riddles just how Saitama became as strong as he is.
why JJ left criminal minds season 6
Genos is particularly curious about this, but Saitama insists it is the result of incredibly mundane training. It is unclear if he is actually lying or not, but Genos is completely open with Saitama and briefly resented that he might not receive the same respect in return.

Andrey Konchalovsky: Blog – Be horrified to yourself
February 27, 2012
Good afternoon!
My blog will be called Horror Yourself. I chose this title for a reason. Marx has a famous phrase: “To inspire courage into the people, you need to make them horrified at themselves!”For many years now I have urged my people to be horrified by many facts and circumstances of Russian life in order to gain courage and the desire to WISH! Wish to change yourself, and change the life around you!
I have long been recorded as Russophobes who despise their people. Well, this is nonsense – then you can call Chekhov, and Gorky, and Herzen, and Chaadaev – the great Russians who wanted to wake up Russia and not look for those who are endlessly guilty of their sorrows – as Russophobes.
The Russian people are not dead, to speak only well of them.We are a living, full of strength, talented people, just very young, and have not yet passed our historical path leading to the prosperity and success of each individual. So we are going to talk today about , the terrible in Russian reality. And who wants to hear something pleasant about himself – read the speeches of President Medvedev or the fairy tales of Afanasyev.
So today I want to remind you of some amazing figures and facts that clearly confirm that in many respects Russia is not in Europe or even in Asia: in terms of corruption, in terms of life expectancy, in terms of investment in science and the like. – in Africa! I will even say more – it is not we who should be offended for such a comparison, but the Africans! The Africans have an explanation for their backwardness: for four centuries they were mercilessly exploited and destroyed by “newcomers” – racists and colonialists, but who have colonized us, Russians, for the last four centuries, who have persecuted us, except ourselves?
So, we often ignore statistics – now there will be statistics – in dry numbers it is difficult to grasp the reality with the mind. But the scale of the tragedy that is now being played out on the territory of Russia is so critical that I urge you to strain your attention.
Mortality in Russia. Over the past 20 years, more than 7 million Russians have become extinct in Russia. By this indicator, we are ahead of Brazil and Turkey by 50%, and Europe – several times.
Every year, Russia loses in terms of population an entire region equal to Pskov, or a large city such as Krasnodar.
The number of suicides, poisonings, homicides and accidents in Russia is comparable to the death rate in Angola and Burundi.
In terms of male life expectancy, Russia occupies about 160th place in the world, behind Bangladesh.
Russia occupies 90,720 1st place in the world in terms of absolute population decline.
According to UN estimates, the population of Russia from the current 143 million people by 2025 will decrease to 121 – 136 million.
The figures reflecting the crisis of the family in Russia are also terrifying: 8 out of 10 old people living in nursing homes have relatives capable of supporting them. But, nevertheless, they were sent to the shelters! Relatives refused them.
We have from 2 to 5 million homeless children (after the Great Patriotic War there were 700 thousand of them).
In China, for 1 billion 400 000 thousand of the homeless population, there are only 200 thousand, i.e. 100 times less than ours! This is what children mean to the Chinese! But caring for the elderly and children is the key to a prosperous nation.
80% of 370 thousand children in orphanages have living parents. But they are supported by the state! In general, I think that this is a crime.
We have the 1st place in the world for the number of children abandoned by their parents.
All these figures indicate erosion, disintegration of family values in our country …
Crimes against children – just listen. According to the data of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, in 2010, 100 thousand minors became victims of crimes, of which 1,700 children were raped and killed (according to these figures, we even surpassed South Africa). This means that 4-5 children are killed in Russia every day.
In 2010, 9,500 sexual crimes against minors were committed in Russia – of which 2,600 were rapes, 3,600 were non-violent sexual intercourse (over 8 years, sexual crime has increased almost 20 times).Only South Africa is ahead of us in these crimes.
Drug addiction and Alcoholism. 30 thousand Russians die annually from drug overdose (the population of a small town).
70,000 people die from vodka a year. In Afghanistan, 14,000 of our soldiers died during the war!
According to the World Health Organization, there are 15 liters of pure alcohol per citizen of the Russian Federation per year, while if the consumption of pure alcohol per person is more than 8 liters, then the nation’s survival is threatened.
Corruption
The size of bribes in Russia has increased tenfold, and the courts between our oligarchs in London have become a laughing stock for the world business community.
Impunity in the legal sphere has reached the point that a criminal case has been initiated against the lawyer Magnitsky who died in prison – that is, they decided to try a dead person who, of course, cannot defend himself! In Europe, such an incident last happened in the 17th century, when Cromwell was dug out of the grave and hanged up on the gallows – so to speak, justice, in pursuit!
In the annual survey of Transparency International Russia on the level of corruption for 2011.dropped to 154th place from 178 countries. We are adjacent to Guinea-Bissau and Kenya.
So in the light of the above figures, we can safely speak about the decline of national morality – and, ultimately, our government is responsible for this.
And now – did you know that:
Over the past 10 years, 11,000 villages and 290 cities have disappeared in Siberia.
Average density of Siberia and the Far East – 2 people per 1 sq. Km.
Average density of the Central part of Russia – 46 people./ sq. km.
Average population density of China – 140 people / sq. Km
The average population density of Japan is 338 people / sq. Km
For whom did we conquer and develop Siberia and the Kuriles? For the Chinese or the Japanese, it turns out that way!
For a country with such a wealth of natural and water resources, it is shameful to have 50% of the population poor.
These figures are quite astonishing to me. I hope that for you too. I am sure that Putin knows all the facts – I wonder what he thinks about this?
No matter how tragic it is, I think that obviously this is not the limit, not the worst, we have not yet touched the “bottom”, and the people have not yet matured to the ability to be horrified at themselves and, finally, to gain the courage to ask, ” where we live?”.We sniffed the stench in the porches and toilets! We are used to being killed around us. We are accustomed to the fact that people in Russian cities and villages are literally fighting for their lives.
Anatoly Yermolin, a journalist born in Kushchevskaya, wrote: “If 12 people were not killed in Kushchevskaya at once, but five murders of two people were committed, no one would have noticed, as it usually happens in our country.” Well, who in Russia does not know that “Kushchevka” is not only in Krasnodar – it is all over the country! That the brothers and sisters – this is the real power, which you yourself choose to be deputies of local assemblies! Everyone in his village knows who is “cool” – who has connections with the police and the prosecutor.
The Kremlin only pretends to fight corruption, dismissing dozens of Interior Ministry generals, middle-level officials, and governors. He generously replaces their execution with a “well-deserved rest” in Dubai and the Cote d’Azur! Is the government seriously thinking of ending corruption in this way? But, on the other hand, all over the country you elect a candidate to the local government with “I am a thief” written on his forehead, and then you are surprised that the government is corrupt!
And I think, really should half the nation die out and the Russians should “shrink” to the Urals so that the people wake up (I repeat, the people, not a tiny group of thinking people!) And demanded from the authorities not pleasant soothing news and regular promises, but the truth, and above all – admitting how bad it is now! Remember: a catastrophe struck in 1941 — Stalin was forced to do this.In 1956, the Bolsheviks felt that they were facing retribution for decades of terror, and this was what Khrushchev was forced to do. And today Russia is approaching a demographic and moral catastrophe, which it has never experienced!
This fact is associated with many circumstances. The main one is the irresponsible economic policy of the 90s, which collapsed on people with a feudal consciousness, who never knew private ownership of land and capitalism, people who for 70 years have forever lost the nascent, barely emerging, entrepreneurial spirit.
What to do? Well, journalist Mikhail Berg writes in his blog: “We live in one country, but we have two peoples. A tiny handful of thinkers who need a lot of freedom and fair elections, and a huge “sleepy” mass of the Russian philistine. And between them there is an abyss of fear, the strongest and most dangerous fear, and social distrust … You can fight the “party of crooks and thieves” the majority of the Russian population has practically not changed in its fundamental characteristics for many centuries !… “Sadly, I have to agree with him. I’ll even add on my own – your oppressors are leaving your own ranks!
So I don’t know what to do but try to shake you up and make you feel horrified at yourself. Yulia Latynina considers me not only a pessimist, but a “demotivator” – it seems to me that you can motivate a person when he is conscious and wants to be saved. What if he’s fainting or lethargic? Sometimes, to bring a person to life, the doctor punches him on the cheeks.
I know what I will hear in response – I have already heard it many times, but I understand that if at least a third of those reading and listening to me now agreed with me, then RUSSIA WOULD BE A DIFFERENT COUNTRY.
I am convinced: Russia needs a leader who would have the courage of Peter the Great to say words to people that they have not heard for a long time. This will be a bitter truth, because it is difficult to admit that Russia cannot move forward, because it does not want to understand how far it has lagged behind Europe in its civilizational development.
I understand that the leader of a nation, a politician, bears a huge burden of political responsibility and, as a rule, cannot speak freely. But today only a clear and inspiring, albeit ruthless, but living, sincere word can become a reason for a national awakening from feudal hibernation.
Only by doing this, we can hope that the nation, with its instinctive wisdom, will understand and accept that difficult and, perhaps, merciless path, which alone can pull our country out of the hole into which we have plunged.I don’t know if Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin is capable of such a suicidal act. Is he able to take a “steel broom” and declare the equality of ALL before the law? Everyone, without exception. If he is capable, he is destined for an honorable place in the Pantheon of Russian History. If not … I don’t know …
I am Russian, I miss my Motherland, but I “don’t see” it! I don’t see a country that I want to be proud of. I see crowds of disgruntled irritated faces and strangers who are afraid of each other!
I want to be proud of my Motherland, but I am ashamed of it! When was the last time I was proud of my Motherland? I do not remember! But I know for sure that the TRUTH about the state of our people, the TRUTH, spoken loudly to the whole world, would cause me, and not only me, more pride than the victory of our hockey players at the Olympics.
Good day!
Double Fraud. “Big Mischief” | by mikaprok
“Big dirty tricks”
It would be tedious to list all possible methods of electoral fraud. In 2007, a short collection of all the schemes known at that time was released. They counted more than 30. Each of them has variations, you can combine “2 in 1” or even “3 in 1” or use one of the methods as a smoke screen for several others.
Fantasy is truly endless here. And that’s just the basic mechanics. All democracies have legislative weaknesses, situationally used in favor of one or another voting outcome, as well as, incredibly important, nuances in the organization of ballot counting.
In our brief review, we will have to focus on several of the most ambitious and therefore more visible options for deceiving voters. Voters will be American, since we are talking about the glorious 2020.
The dead near the urns look textured, but they do not have the same scope of discussion in the press as the so-called.n. “Double voting”.
Over the past 100 years, EVERY election has given us overlap scandals.
In total, one can imagine only a few hundred thousand of the discussed cases without taking into account the default figures *.
Perhaps we can talk about millions of potentially mobilized citizens.
Taking into account the usual overweight from 500 thousand to 7.5 million, this is significant.
By the way, indicative exceptions, where a combination of double voting and anti-advertising was probably used:
1) the 2008 elections with Obama’s lead with almost 9.5 million votes from McCain.Even without looking at the clearly staged nature of the “surrender” of positions;
2) Reagan’s 1984 election, in which he beat Walter Mondale with a disqualification score of 525 for 13 electors. Map of this destruction:
Double vote recognized and investigated publicly. From several dozen to a couple of hundred cases per elective cycle. And in such a way as to identify minor flaws everywhere in an equal layer, calming voters.
This type of voter fraud is subject to a large fine and, in special cases, a prison sentence. For the administrator at the place of double voting – a prison term.
Everything is serious, but, as it is right, the flogging comes down to the next improvement of the registration system. It makes sense to allocate a significant amount of budgetary funds for it.
Highlights of the discussion of double voting:
– in Missouri 2000 and 2002. The sequence itself is questionable. Several hundred people caught in double voting were attributed to system errors, typos and accounting nuances.4 cases of deliberate double voting were recognized. The consequences for those convicted of the violation are unknown.
– In New Hampshire in 2004, thousands of people voted twice. Then they turned out to be different people with the same names and identifiers lost by the “careless” information system. The Bush administration’s investigation has found no irregularities.
– New Jersey, same election in 2004. The numbers are already like this: 4397 voters voted twice within the state, 6572 voters – once inside, once in another state.Of these, 8 were brought to court and the perpetrators paid fines.
– In New York City, between 2000 and 2008, there were up to 1000 cases of double voting in each election. It’s a lot. Only 2 (!) Citizens were convicted. One went to forced labor, and the other got off with a fine.
– Up to 400 double voters were caught in Wisconsin 2004-2008. 12 people were caught and not punished because they voted “by accident”.
Elderly citizens forgot what they were doing in the morning and went to do their duty in the evening.
Like this.
In the 2020 elections, there were apparently tens of thousands of double votes.
If, at the state level, it is decided to organically combine the described scheme with deliberate errors in the register books, then such cases will not be identified. All votes will be taken into account, and compact groups of citizens will be able to move between states and vote 2-3-4-5, etc.
