Meanwhile, the Yosemite Mounted Patrol also took home top honors, winning first place in the Mounted Horse Group category.
Mule Days bills itself as “a world-class equestrian event promoting the legacy, heritage and talents of the mule.”

The team actually took part in a series of events over the week, in addition to participating in Saturday’s parade. Based on their overall performance, they were named the 2019 Bishop Mule Days World Champion Pack Team.
The winning Yosemite Mounted Patrol entry featured a four-person Color Guard line with Yosemite Rangers Clif Ashley, James Cox, Heidi Edgecomb and Justin Fey in the lead and the two-person dignitary line featuring Superintendent Reynolds and Chief Ranger Kevin Killian.

Army Mule colt reaches $225,000 to top NY-breds in Keeneland Book Three

By Melissa Bauer-Herzog
New York-breds proved popular during Book Three of the Keeneland September Yearling Sale Saturday when seven of the 11 sold brought six figures.
In all, the 11 sold from averaged $134,727 with a median of $140,000 and gross of $1,482,000.
An Army Mule colt offered by Woods Edge Farm showed the way at $225,000, on a purchase by West Bloodstock for Repole Stable and St. Elias Stable. Hip 1175, out of three-time winner Miss Nancy and bred by Mashnee Stable, sold for $100,000 at Keeneland January when part of the Hidden Brook consignment.
The colt carries a strong family with granddam Silky Omega a half-sister to Grade 1 winner Magnificent Song and four other stakes performers, including Group 2-placed Great Barrier Reef. Another one of Silky Omega’s siblings, Mindful Music, produced Venezuelan champion 2-year-old filly The Mindfulangel. Miss Nancy foaled a New York-bred Laoban filly on Feb. 7 and returned to Tiz The Law.
Mashnee bought Miss Nancy (carrying the Army Mule colt) for $17,000 at Fasig-Tipton’s Saratoga mixed sale in 2019, and she has more than paid for herself.
“They sold the Army Mule colt for a nice profit, but we sold him for $100,000 as a weanling so no complaints on our side,” said Schuster. “We’re a small operation, with four or five mares, and we keep one a year to race and sell the others. It’s been going well. The New York breeding program really makes it work.”
Mashnee, which keeps its mares in Saratoga with McMahon Thoroughbreds, sold 75 percent of Miss Nancy to a partner but plans to keep adding to the broodmare band.
Nobody had a better Saturday than Chester and Mary Broman’s star mare Stolen Star, whose grandson by Candy Ride (Hip 1504) sold for $220,000 to Ed and Susie Orr right about the same time her son Captain Bombastic won the Polynesian Stakes at Laurel Park. Consigned by Sequel New York on behalf of the Bromans, Hip 1504 is the first foal out of Stolen Star’s multiple Grade 2 winning New York-bred daughter Highway Star, who won 10 races, placed in two Grade 1 stakes and earned $1.3 million. The generations of excellence started when the Bromans purchased broodmare Unbridled Star (carrying Stolen Star) in 2002. In addition to Stolen Star, who placed in four stakes, Unbridled Star produced stakes winners Friend Or Foe and Star Grazing.
Highway Star foaled a New York-bred Curlin colt this year and was bred back to Into Mischief.
Agent Joe Hardoon purchased the highest-priced New York-bred filly of the book when he went to $200,000 to land a daughter of Accelerate from the Eaton Sales consignment. The first foal out of stakes-winning Laudation, Hip 1132 was bred by SF Bloodstock in New York. Her breeder sent her through the ring at Keeneland November, where she fetched $75,000 from Newday Training Center before returning nearly a year later in this spot.
Laudation is one of two stakes winners for multiple Grade 2 winner Rite Moment alongside multiple stakes winner Moment is Right. The filly’s catalog page includes seven stakes winners and nine stakes performers, led by her granddam. Laudation had a Kentucky-bred Twirling Candy filly this year and visited City of Light.
Sunday, a $150,000 colt by Mo Town led the way. Purchased by Kinsman Farm from the Taylor Made consignment, the Hidden Lake Farm-bred was making his second appearance in the Keeneland ring after selling in January for $95,000. A half-brother to one winner from one to race, Hip 1833 is out of winning Tale of the Cat mare Coral Beach, a half-sister to Chilean champion Desert Power.
Third dam Coral Sea is the dam of Grade 2 winner Cool Coal Man and stakes winner Kathleens Reel from her 10 winners. Coral Sea is out of a stakes-placed full-sister to Canadian champion Northernette and European champion and influential sire Storm Bird.
Coral Beach has a weanling colt from the second crop of McMahon of Saratoga Thoroughbreds’ Redesdale to come.
Through six sessions, a $650,000 colt purchased by M.V. Magnier Wednesday leads all New York-breds. The 20 New York-breds sold through Sunday averaged $175,600 with a median of $150,000 and a gross of $3,512,000.
The sale continues through Friday with sessions starting at 10 a.m. daily.

Craig Stefureak wins The Mule Invitational in Warrensburg
Story Links
WARRENSBURG, Mo.— Drury senior Craig Stefureak won a tie-breaker to take the individual championship at The Mule Invitational hosted by the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg on Tuesday.
Stefureak entered Tuesday’s final round one shot back of Lindenwood’s Yente Van Doren and fired a two-under-par 68 to finish the tournament at -7, and a 54-hole total of 203. Both ended the event at seven-under after Van Doren’s score of 69 in the final round, but Stefureak won the tie-breaker to take the tournament championship.
Stefureak shot an even-par 70 in the opening round on Monday and followed by setting a program record with a five-under-par 65 in his second 18 holes. His score of 65 was the lowest round of golf in Drury team history breaking the mark previously held by Andrew Funk who shot a 66 in 2010.
This week’s win was the second career victory for the senior from Caledonia, Ontario, Canada. Stefureak’s other championship was at the Kentucky Wesleyan Invitational on April 10, 2018, a tournament that Drury also won as a team.
Washburn won the team tournament championship on Tuesday with a total of 845 ( 5) and edged host Central Missouri by one shot. Central Missouri’s B team was third in the tournament with a score of 293. The Panthers finished 11th out of 18 teams in the event with a team score of 869 and were one stroke behind Missouri Western State for 10th and four shots back of Southwestern Oklahoma State for ninth.
Clayton Larsen had Drury’s next best total in the event and finished tied for 30th shooting a 7, 217. Josh Fronabarger tied for 55th with a total of 221, and Nick Walz came in tied for 78th finishing with a score of 228.
Drury competes again Sept. 28-29 in the Hawkshead Invitational hosted by Wayne State University at the Hawkshead Country Club in South Haven, Michigan.

He has a solid “woah” at all three gaits, neck reins, has good transitions, and is comfortable riding in or out of the arena. He is currently being ridden about 3 times a week for 30-60 minutes. He can be stiff to warm up given his age (comfortable on straight lines, slightly off trotting in a circle), but this stiffness improves as he warms up and as he is ridden more. Given Gator’s sweet disposition and experience under saddle, he would be perfectly suitable to be someone’s light riding horse.” – Description by student rider, Bailey Abi-Nader, Third Year Animal Science Major *Full Disclosure: Gator has an old scar, likely from a saddle sore, on his back that is fully closed and healed but is missing hair. List of WWE Women’s Champions
WWE Women’s Championship – was one of the titles of the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) and later World Wrestling Federation / Entertainment (WWF / E) and, until abolished in 2010, was the oldest league title in the federation. It was created in 1956 and was named the NWA Women’s World Champion. Nine girls from the “Mula camp” refute the loud statements and accusations against the Incredible Mula
Earlier this month, WWE officially announced that Wrestlemania 34 will host the first ever women’s battle royal, named after The Incredible Mula. The news sparked a strong community response and fans from all over the world began writing complaints, signing petitions and sending letters to Wrestlemania 34’s sponsors to pressure WWE executives to renounce the battle royale name in honor of Mula. The main resentment was that the Incredible Mula was a terrible and greedy person who, in addition to selling money from younger wrestlers, engaged in pimping and drugging them, at least that’s what many wrote about it.
When Mula achieved significant results, she organized her own “Mula camp”, where she took young girls on a contract, to whom she promised fame and promotion in the professional wrestling industry. The authors of The Matt Riviera Show managed to contact some of the women from the camp, after which they recorded a podcast and published it on their channel.Nine girls contacted Mula’s camp and said the following:
Deida Kai, former champion and one of the girls who has been in the Mula camp for over twenty years:
“She never drugged us. She was a champion. She was a booker and a great legend. She deserves respect ”
Former NWA Champion Susan ‘Tex’ Grinn:
Shepard asked her how much did Mula take from their royalties? “About 30%. I had no problem with that.I signed a contract and trusted her. She gave me the opportunity to perform in the ring in front of different people. I was photographed, I was interviewed. My photographs were published in magazines. And everything that concerns accusations about pimping of girls, no one has ever come to me personally at night ”
‘Golden Girl’ Lisa Darnell, the youngest girl from Mula’s camp who got there at the age of 16: “Mula has never done anything illegal or immoral.I have been under her wing since the age of 16 and have never regretted it. Pimping accusations cannot be true. I was 16 years old. I was the youngest. It turns out that I could also be fucked for money? This is insulting ”
Mula’s daughter, Mary Elson, who was also in Mula’s camp :
“I don’t know who spread all these rumors. As for Georgia Brown, she began to closely communicate with Buddy Lee (Mula’s husband), after which she started an affair with him and the camp was divided into two parts. Someone stayed with my mom, and someone left for Georgia. And if there is talk about pimping and drugs, then I would not be surprised that this applies to that half of our camp. ”
Brittney Brown :
“If something like this happened to me, then I would go home to Boston faster than you could even write my name … and I’m sure most of the other girls in the camp would do the same … I saw contracts. Everything suited us then, and I don’t understand what the point is after 30 or 40 years to say: “Oh, my God! I can’t believe she took 30% of her salary. “She didn’t force us to do it. We signed the contract ourselves and worked in such conditions. We wanted to get on television and we gave 30% of our salary for that. Was the price too high? Do not know. If this were so, probably the girls would not agree to such conditions ”
Diamond Lee: “Everything about prostitution and drugs is an ordinary lie. The person who said this is just a madman. ”
Winnona Littleheart : “This is a lie. Nobody sold us or drugged us.None of the girls from the camp even talked about that ”
Former WWF Star Piji Lee Leater : “No. She was not a pimp. She was my personal accountant and my manager. I gave her a percentage of my income, and she took care of my career and promoted on screens. And to be honest, it’s very hard to listen to this slander now. Words about drugs and pimping pierce me. The only thing that can be true is information about the photos for the local doctor Dr. Goldstein, but even then it is not as it really was.I will say right away that there was no violence there. And talking about sex too. He loved female wrestling and loved taking pictures of girls. Mula invited the girls to earn extra money. To do this, it was necessary to go to the doctor and take a few pictures that he asked. It was voluntary. Someone agreed. Someone disagreed. However, even those girls who went to see him in the photo, none of them complained about attempted rape or even any talk about sex. Mula was an incredibly shrewd woman and businesslike person. We made careers and made money. We were not involved in prostitution and drugs ”
Joycy Rowble : “This is the first time I’ve heard of this. If this were true, I would be the first to know about it, because in those days I had an incredible figure and a very beautiful appearance. Especially when we were in Puerto Rico. I had beautiful long hair and a gorgeous figure. If someone bought us for money, I would be first on the list. But that was not the case. I have not even heard this ”
Death parcels: drug mafia secretly turns naive tourists into “blind mules” | In the world | 15.05.2017
The film crew of REN TV managed to get into a detention center in the Philippines and tell about the dark world of the drug mafia.
“ We are at the headquarters of the Unassigned gang … In the Manila County Detention Center ,” says our guide.
He says it calmly – he’s used to it, but the journalists have a cold sweat. They found themselves inside the cloaca of the Asian underworld, where there are exclusively murderers, pedophiles and rapists around. All this rabble in the literal sense of the word steamed on Filipino bunks with constant +35 in the shade.
3 thousand prisoners – side by side, in tiny barracks. Justice, like a red-hot, rotten prison air, froze. You can wait forever for the trial. When Yuri – the only Russian among the local criminal rabble – realizes that he is shining for life, tears welling up in his eyes.
To get here, you have to say goodbye to civilization. The center of the capital of the Philippines is being replaced by slums, street beggars and policemen. Terrible prisons hide out of sight on the outskirts. For the sake of an interview with a Russian right in the prison barracks, we developed a whole “spy scheme”.
By truth or by crook, we managed the incredible – to lull the vigilance of the warders and get into the confidence of the leaders of the criminals. One of the five “prison keepers” even posed for us.
The bandits graciously escorted our group to their privileged barracks. “They put sixes on the naughty” so that an illegal interview could take place at the very bottom of the Asian underworld, far from the eyes of the Filipino guards.
Death or life imprisonment – such sentences threaten almost everyone here.Yuri is no exception. He is the first Russian citizen detained in the Philippines for drug trafficking. He’s a celebrity. The footage of his arrest was on all the TV news.
10 kg of cocaine – extra large size. That’s how much the local police found when they gutted his luggage at the airport. It turned out that he was being followed.
“ We knew his passport details ,” law enforcement officials say in news reports.
The arrest is like a bolt from the blue.Yuri is a qualified aviation specialist with two higher educations and several European languages. Proves that he would never commit a crime. He was asked to bring from Latin America a folk remedy – San Pedro cactus powder. And he does not know how there was a drug in the bag, which, by the way, was opened by unknown persons on the airport transporter.
“ The question is open – did I carry it or was it thrown to me? ” – he says.
A friend, he is a drug mafia recruiter, immediately disappeared.Leaving Yura alone with the local justice, which does not stand on ceremony with drug couriers. The judges give on the upper bar. But in Yuri’s case there are many details that require a thorough investigation. Moreover, there are hundreds, if not thousands, of Russians in jails in Asia who are “spending time” on banana plots. And as it turns out now, most were simply framed. For people like them, there is even an official term – “blind mules”, “horses”. Tourists who bring prohibited cargo from Latin America to Asia, without sleep or spirit knowing about it.Reluctant drug couriers learn only after the arrest that they were cogs in the mechanism of the world drug mafia. And not random, but specially selected and recruited.
How many of them passed through her law office – gullible, young and sociable young people from Russia, who suddenly found out the terrible thing about themselves: they are drug couriers and work for a specific ethnic international criminal group. Russian blind mules are controlled by a mafia made up of Africans from Nigeria. She also flooded Asian streets and beaches with cocaine.
Nigerian dealers are not ashamed of anyone, even in ordinary cafes. We have seen this ourselves. Nigerian “pushers” feel unpunished and are ready to give their phone number to the first comer to order poison wherever you want.
But where is Nigeria and where is Russia? We tried to find an answer to the main question: with what rolls does the Nigerian drug mafia lure Russians into its nets? How do you manage to fool completely reasonable and educated people? And why are boys and girls recruited differently?
Diana from Khabarovsk and Maria from Chelyabinsk still do not know about each other.Right now, girls living thousands of miles away from each other will experience shock. After all, the last few years of their lives went parallel to each other. They were both lovers of the same man. One of them met with him from time to time, the second even lived abroad in a civil marriage. The groom of both is a Nigerian drug lord named Lenz. He was arrested red-handed.
An African – by the way, a married father of two children – made love with Russian beauties with one goal – to turn them into drug couriers. The Chelyabinsk drug lord Maria was sent to Brazil by the drug lord’s groom three times. Allegedly for jewelry. But for some reason, the beloved himself never came for a load brought from afar, the girl says.
She recalls suspicious details only now. In the midst of a passionate romance, I could not imagine that her womanizer-drug lord has another bride from Russia.
“ And restaurants, and gifts, hotels are beautiful … He is an imposing person. Everything a girl needs “, – says the bride of the drug lord.
Beaches of Rio. World famous landmarks. Both brides have surprisingly similar Brazilian photo impressions on social media. Only Khabarovskaya managed to be a drug courier only once. She still cannot recover from the experience and believe in deception, says her mother.
“ It was incomprehensible to her, she did not understand how a person could come to her trust for a long time. How so long, how? Can she really not understand that for so long he talked with her just to to draw her into this scheme? ”This moment was incomprehensible. When they met in the courtroom at the preliminary hearing, when they met, he did not admit his guilt until the very last moment , “says the woman.
Meanwhile, Lenz tried on pseudo-lovers the most common way for girls to recruit drug couriers. They are drawn in by suitors.
Grooms for girls. Young men – beauties from the Internet. Most of the young people fell for the promise of a lucrative and interesting job of transporting exclusive goods from Brazil. The route is the same. We flew from Sao Paulo to one of the southeastern capitals. Like brides, they flew with a transfer to a European, Arab country, sometimes to the Maldives or India. So the drug mafia covered their tracks. After all, instead of the promised tape recorders or shirts, the cargo was the same cocaine.
The sentence to Sergei Lelekov sounds unbearable for his mother. 25 years in prison. A romantic guy who graduated from a prestigious university, served in the navy. And suddenly – a drug courier.
The sexy beauty who embroiled him in criminal activities was called Yulia, he said in a letter from prison. She promised a dusty job and the opportunity to see the world.
“ It was agreed that these were exclusive goods. Naturally, Seryozha asked what, why.” They will show you what is there. These are exclusive products. Our company carries goods “, – they told him. Something there, as they say, the customer there is ready to pay so that it was transported individually. Like, you will definitely see that you are carrying “, – says Sergey’s mother.
The fact that Yulia from the Internet is a recruiter of the drug mafia, he could not even dream of in a bad dream. The delighted young man thanked fate for the rare chance and recommended Julia to his friends. And now a sociable girl flirts with another blind mule.
“ Didn’t seem strange. She, in general, always tried to bring out such a positive note so that I warned, called up periodically with my mother so that my mother knew that everything was fine with me. She also called me from time to time. I used such an appeal. Well, this additionally emancipated me in conversation “, – said Sergey.
There were several recruiters. But they behaved in an eminently similar and professional manner. The phones were changed once a week. Disappeared in one messenger, appeared in another. They fell silent, after a month they appeared as if from under the ground. But one day, losing vigilance, one of the recruiters got in touch with the drug courier. The recruits identified her. Julia from the Internet has a new social media account and a new name – Valentina. But the friends are the same – Nigerian. It turned out that besides friends, recruiters Julia-Valentina and Angelica have something else in common. Both love to spend time in one of the trendy resorts in Southeast Asia.
Our investigation led us to the club. We did not find Angelica herself in the club, but we met her best friend, according to the general photo on the social network. We asked the employee of this noble establishment where her friend is, who suspiciously often asks her friends to bring her parcels. Our question scared the blonde very much. It seemed to us that in this nightclub it is known who, for what amount and in whose interests rewards young men with 25-year terms.
An important detail emerged during our investigation. If a drug courier is detained at Asian airports, he turns out to be either Russian or Russian-speaking. Another Russian came across, telling the Philippine news about the arrest of drug courier Anastasia from Krasnoyarsk. She was also carrying cocaine. When asked where he came from, she could only say one thing: I don’t understand.
Anastasia Novopashina is a single mother. Her 11-year-old daughter remained in the care of her grandmother. But in Asia, no one cares about this. The Siberian woman, like Yuri Kirdyushkin, will face a life sentence. The fight against drugs is part of big politics. And perhaps not by chance: almost all the arrests of Russian citizens were carried out on a tip from the Americans. Which have established branches of their anti-drug administration in all countries of Southeast Asia.
“ What is the point? To put it bluntly, the drug mafia is simply using our youth for their criminal purposes, in their criminal affairs. And thereby compromising our country in the eyes of other states. And it is in this crime to blame Russia. Here’s the news, here’s another drug courier from Russia brought drugs there “, – says Margarita Lelekova.
It’s almost impossible to get rid of the drug courier label. Yuri Kirdyushkin curses himself every minute for allowing himself to be loaded with drugs.
We are not going to state unequivocally that the heroes of our investigation did not even dream of suspecting that they were carrying drugs. But we are convinced that the international drug mafia has developed and is putting into practice a whole system of involving blind mules in drug trafficking. And this must be stopped.
While the report was being prepared, we received tragic news. Another Russian citizen was detained in Brazil on suspicion of drug trafficking. Another mule for the drug mafia is called Evdokia. But how many of them are still climbing the plane at this very minute? Unsuspecting, trusting and sympathetic. Those for whom this flight will be the last. And the rest of your life will have to be spent on the floor of a prison barrack of an unknown country, sticky from someone else’s sweat.

Stormwind Paladin Manuscript Guide
Not the most popular, but quite successful Manuscript Paladin of the Forged Barrens entered the Stormwind Unite meta with great rejection. The dominance of quest decks, for which it was not difficult to cope with any table, did not leave the archetype any chance. And the potential to crush the enemy very quickly, as Agro Secret Paladin did, does not have an assembly with manuscripts.
After numerous nerfs, the deck was able not only to breathe, but made a significant leap in performance, getting to the top of the best decks in the meta. Yes, Manuscript Paladin is still not the best at opposing the Mage and Rogue quests, as well as the build with Garrote, but against the rest of the ladder, its effectiveness is very high.
Check out the numerous builds of the Paladin Manuscript, Mulligan tips, and deck gameplay.
Manuscript Paladin of the United Stormwind by Burr0
One of the most popular builds is tailored for confrontation with combo and quest decks. There are more slow and response cards, benefits and no secret synergies. It is difficult for a Paladin to use Cult Neophytes as they slow down the pace of the deck and do not contribute too much to the game plan. But the heavier counter-cards from spells in the form of Crossroads Outpost and Ogromancer can cause a lot of problems for opponents.Like the Handbuff Paladin, the Loaded Mule is used in conjunction with the Alliance Standard Bearer in the assembly.
Instead of technical cards , you can use a second copy of the Manuscript of Justice, one Animated Broomstick with Lord Barov or Noble Steed.

Manuscript Paladin of the United Stormwind by WuLing
While the most popular builds of the Paladin’s Manuscript are discarding secrets, top Legend players still tend to prefer them. This is largely due to the fact that secrets are a great help against combo decks, of which there are a lot of Legend.
According to WuLing, Lady Liadrin is too slow, and in the current still pretty fast meta, she doesn’t come in handy very often.
Manuscript Paladin of the United Stormwind from glory
The lightest of all secret builds. Here, Manuscripts of Justice finally appear, which allows you to deal with big threats or go through a provocation without loss of pace.In addition, in combination with them (and also as an excellent tool against aggro decks) there are 2 copies of the City Tax in the deck.
- In all situations, keep Aldor Acolyte, Knight Chaplain, Murgur Morgargl, and Alliance Standard Bearer .
- Always keep Sword of the Fallen in an assembly with secrets.
- If you already have the Sword of the Fallen, keep Northwatch Commander .
- Aldor – Seeker of Truth can only be saved with a good start already found and not in an aggro match-up.
- Leave Hand of Ad’al and Manuscript of Wisdom with the Aldor Acolyte.
- With a good hand in tempo match-ups, you can leave Cariel Rome .
- You can leave Blademaster Samuro against the Druid if you often meet a Swarm of fireflies at your rank in the class.
- Against the Hunter, City Tax will come in handy.
- Against Mage, Rogue and Demon Hunter, you can save Crossroads Outpost .In the secret of the assembly, think about leaving the spell Oh my Yogg!
After a long-standing nerf to the Feather Thrower, Manuscript Paladin turned into the purest midrange deck , which can get off to a good start, but which is best at midgame. She also has several heavy drops, but it does not always come to them.
Like any midrange deck, the main way to win Paladin’s Manuscript is constant control and gradual build-up of the table, which quickly brings the enemy to lethal damage by the beginning of the late game.Achieving this will be helped by lucrative exchanges of creatures that you must carry out, flip moves with the help of Blademaster Samuro, and early casting of the Manuscript of Hope.
Start Paladin’s Manuscript is similar to Secret and Handbuff Paladins. Depending on the build, the tempo will be slightly different, but in any case, try to cling to the table with creatures, and use buffs primarily for profitable exchanges. Your early game will not differ depending on the opponent you meet.If the enemy can have clears – Hot Sales, Soul Rip, Eternal Flame – try to win back from them whenever possible.
Libram of Wisdom is a very convenient buff in the case when you have a lot of small creatures, and a couple of reductions in prices have already been activated. You can re-transfer the buff from creature to creature by exchanging them, and ending on the one that you want to protect from clearing or which you will inflict damage. If you have an Animated Broom in your assembly, it will be even easier to prepare such a move.
Against aggressive decks, play as fast as possible and expect to play the Manuscript of Hope as early as possible. Usually, the exit of this card puts a bullet in the game.
In protracted games, you will have late potential in the form of a full hand of Lady Liadrin’s Scriptures of Wisdom, which you can pass on to recruit paladins over and over again. The game plan is not flexible, but in most cases reliable. Recalculate how quickly you can finish off the enemy – often hitting the hero will force the opponent to trade in any case and protect you from counterattack.
Combo and quest decks are the most dangerous opponents for Manuscript Paladin. Your only chance of winning is to crush your opponent in the first half of the game. To do this, it is important to know what removals are in the enemy deck, and always create a table that will at least partially survive the cleanup. In late game, you will either die from a combination or lose in resources, since the deck has no explosive damage. That is why some builds take the Manuscript of Justice – primarily for the sake of 15 units.damage in such match-ups, and not healing in others.
Never be greedy as the Commander of the Northwatch if you haven’t found a secret by turn 3. The pace for the deck is much more important than the benefit.
Even if you don’t need to use the free Libram of Wisdom before trading, do so anyway. This will reduce the cost of the Studious Apprentice and saturate the buff pool for Lady Liadrin.
Variant King of Stormwind gains all of the listed effects, even if only one drawn card has a couple of them. For example, he will receive both a provocation and a divine shield even if Telan Fordring is the only creature with these properties in the deck.
Beware of the Royal Librarian and Polymorph effects. The distribution of buffs between several creatures will help to beat them, as well as the option to hold some of them in your hand.
If you already have 1 secret in your hand, which you will play anyway on the current turn, play it first, and then hit the fallen with the Sword.Otherwise, you risk getting the same secret from the deck.
What is your favorite Paladin archetype in the current meta? And why do you think such successful decks are not very popular among players? Leave your thoughts in the comments.
Enjoy your game!
