How will the 2022 NCAA men’s basketball tournament bracket shape up. Which teams are on the bubble for March Madness. What are the latest bracket predictions for the 2022 NCAA Tournament.
The Return of March Madness in 2022
After an unprecedented 2021 NCAA tournament held entirely in Indiana due to COVID-19 restrictions, college basketball fans can look forward to a return to normalcy for March Madness in 2022. The upcoming tournament is set to feature many beloved elements that were missing last year:
- A standard selection process for determining the 68-team field
- Games played across multiple cities and venues
- The return of fans in the stands
- College bands and cheerleaders adding to the atmosphere
This shift back to the traditional March Madness format is eagerly anticipated by fans, players, and coaches alike. The energy and excitement of packed arenas across the country will once again provide the backdrop for the drama and intensity of NCAA tournament basketball.
Early Bracket Projections and Teams to Watch
While the 2022 NCAA tournament is still months away, bracketology experts have already begun making early projections for the field of 68. Some key storylines and teams to keep an eye on include:
Memphis Tigers Make a Major Leap
The Memphis Tigers have made the biggest move in recent bracket projections, climbing all the way to a projected No. 2 seed. This dramatic rise is largely due to the addition of star freshman Emoni Bates to an already loaded roster. Can head coach Penny Hardaway translate his elite recruiting into on-court success and a deep tournament run?
Bubble Watch Begins Early
Even in the preseason, bracketology experts are identifying teams that may find themselves on the tournament bubble come Selection Sunday. Some early bubble teams to monitor include:
- Mississippi State – Recently dropped out of projected at-large field
- Iowa – Currently among the “Last Four In”
The bubble picture will undoubtedly shift dramatically over the course of the season, but these early projections provide insight into which teams may need strong non-conference and conference performances to secure a tournament bid.
Understanding NCAA Tournament Selection and Seeding
For those new to college basketball or looking for a refresher, it’s helpful to understand how the NCAA tournament field is selected and seeded. What are the key factors in determining which teams make the tournament?
- Overall win-loss record
- Strength of schedule
- Quality wins, especially against highly ranked opponents
- Conference performance
- Advanced metrics and rating systems
The NCAA selection committee evaluates teams based on their full body of work throughout the season. This holistic approach aims to identify the most deserving at-large teams to fill out the bracket alongside automatic qualifiers from conference tournaments.
Bracketology Terminology
When following bracketology updates, you’ll often encounter specific terms used to describe teams’ positioning relative to making the tournament field:
- Last Four Byes: The last four teams to receive at-large bids without playing in the First Four
- Last Four In: The final four at-large teams selected, who will compete in the First Four
- First Four Out: The first four teams left out of the field, essentially the top alternate teams
- Next Four Out: The next group of teams under consideration but currently outside the projected field
Understanding these designations helps in tracking how teams’ tournament chances evolve throughout the season.
Regional Breakdown of the Projected Bracket
The NCAA tournament is divided into four regions, each culminating in a regional final to determine a Final Four participant. How are the regions shaping up in early bracket projections?
West Region (San Francisco)
The West Region, set to hold its regional finals in San Francisco, is shaping up to be highly competitive. Early projections suggest a mix of established powerhouses and rising programs could be vying for a trip to the Final Four from this region.
East Region (Philadelphia)
Philadelphia will host the East Regional finals in 2022. This region often features a strong contingent of teams from the eastern seaboard, but don’t be surprised to see some geographic diversity as the selection committee prioritizes overall seeding balance.
South Region (San Antonio)
San Antonio, no stranger to hosting high-stakes NCAA tournament games, will be the site of the South Regional finals. Early bracket projections for this region hint at a potential mix of SEC, Big 12, and ACC programs among the top seeds.
Midwest Region (Chicago)
The road to the Final Four through the Midwest Region will run through Chicago. Look for a blend of Big Ten heavyweights and national contenders from other conferences to feature prominently in this region’s bracket projections.
Impact of Conference Strength on Tournament Seeding
The relative strength of college basketball conferences plays a significant role in shaping the NCAA tournament field. How does conference affiliation influence a team’s seeding and selection prospects?
- Power conferences (e.g., ACC, Big Ten, Big 12) typically receive more at-large bids
- Strong non-conference performance is crucial for mid-major programs
- Conference tournament results can dramatically impact seeding and bubble teams
Teams from power conferences benefit from more opportunities for quality wins, but also face the challenge of navigating difficult league schedules. Mid-major programs often need to capitalize on limited chances against high-profile opponents to build a tournament-worthy resume.
Conferences to Watch in 2021-22
Several conferences are poised to make a significant impact on the 2022 NCAA tournament field:
- Big Ten: Coming off a season with nine tournament bids, the conference looks strong again
- SEC: Improved depth could lead to increased representation in the field
- Big 12: Perennially tough, with multiple national title contenders
- ACC: Traditional powerhouse looking to bounce back from a down year
Keep an eye on how these conferences perform in non-conference play, as it will set the tone for their NCAA tournament prospects.
Key Dates and Milestones on the Road to March Madness
While March Madness is the culmination of the college basketball season, several key dates and events throughout the year shape the path to the NCAA tournament. What are some important milestones to watch for?
- November: Season tipoff, featuring early-season tournaments and marquee non-conference matchups
- December: Continuation of non-conference play, including several high-profile showcases and inter-conference challenges
- January: Conference play begins in earnest across the country
- February: Bubble watch intensifies as conference races heat up
- March: Conference tournaments determine automatic bids and final impressions for the selection committee
Selection Sunday, typically held in mid-March, marks the official unveiling of the NCAA tournament bracket. This event kicks off the frenzy of March Madness, as teams, fans, and analysts begin dissecting the field and making predictions for the Big Dance.
Impact of Early Season Results
While it’s a long season, early results can have a lasting impact on a team’s NCAA tournament outlook. Strong performances in November and December can:
- Build a team’s resume with quality non-conference wins
- Improve a conference’s overall standing, potentially leading to more bids
- Generate momentum and confidence heading into conference play
Conversely, early stumbles can put teams in a hole they’ll need to dig out of during conference play to secure a tournament bid.
Strategies for Filling Out Your March Madness Bracket
As Selection Sunday approaches, millions of fans will be gearing up to fill out their NCAA tournament brackets. What are some effective strategies for making your picks?
Balance Favorites and Upsets
While it’s tempting to pick nothing but upsets, a balanced approach often yields the best results. Consider these guidelines:
- Historically, at least one 1-seed usually makes the Final Four
- Look for 12-5 and 11-6 upsets in the first round
- Be selective with your Cinderella picks – advancing them too far can backfire
Research Key Factors
When evaluating matchups, pay attention to:
- Team experience and tournament history
- Strength of schedule and performance against quality opponents
- Key injuries or recent trends (positive or negative)
- Stylistic matchups that could favor one team over another
Don’t Overthink It
While deep analysis has its place, sometimes going with your gut or favoring teams you’ve watched perform well can be just as effective. Remember, even the most knowledgeable experts rarely predict the entire tournament correctly.
As March Madness approaches, the excitement and anticipation will only continue to build. From early season tournaments to Selection Sunday and beyond, college basketball fans have a thrilling journey ahead as they follow their favorite teams’ quests for NCAA tournament glory.
NCAA Bracketology – Projecting the 2022 March Madness men’s field
By Joe Lunardi Updated: 9/15/2021 at 7:00 a.m. ET
After the most unusual NCAA tournament in history, a return to the version of March Madness fans have known and loved is back on the schedule for 2021-22. A standard selection process, a multiple-city event and the return of fans, bands and cheerleaders are among the elements college basketball fans will welcome back in March. ESPN will have you covered all the way through Selection Sunday with the most recent men’s NCAA tournament bracket projections, including the teams on the bubble and those best positioned to cut down the nets in New Orleans on April 4.
Bracket Watch
Memphis makes the biggest move since our August update, adding star freshman Emoni Bates to a loaded roster and climbing all the way to a No. 2 seed. It remains to be seen whether the Tigers can live up to the hype: Penny Hardaway has recruited like a Final Four coach but has yet to make the NCAA tournament. His team appears to be a lock for 2022, but the list of serious contenders headed for New Orleans is deep and unpredictable. As for teams on the bubble, Mississippi State slides out of the projected at-large field and Iowa returns to the “Last Four In” group.

My Mock NCAA Tournament Bracket | Bleacher Report
As a fan, I wasn’t sure if I had the credentials to write an article showing a mock bracket. Then I saw a mock one on a major website and knew I could do better. He had Villanova in Boise, UConn in Miami, and almost every other team traveling a long distance to play. It’s a mess. A mock bracket will always have errors, especially when it comes to the last few teams in. I did this on Friday, and there are 12 teams not in that have an at-large case. They are:
Cincinnati, Penn St., New Mexico, Niagara, Tennessee, San Diego St., Providence, Notre Dame, Rhode Island, Maryland, Temple, and Miami. All of these have flaws, and still have time to make an at-large case. Even after I did my bracket, I realized that one of these 12 should be in over Oklahoma State. The teams as of now aren’t as important as how I formed the bracket. It’s more of a wish than a prediction, but I used some knowledge by the committee to come up with it.
I heard a comment saying that the committee was considering the difficult economy as a factor and wanted to keep teams closer to home. My bracket provides a great opportunity for more fans to go to the games, and a lot less travel. Some big name teams would have to travel, but they are also more likely to have fans outside of their city. The focus is more on the best atmosphere and games, and less on seedings.

Who will win the NCAA Tournament in 2021?
Gonzaga, Baylor, Michigan and Illinois have the best odds to win March Madness in 2021, according to the FanDuel sportsbook. That makes sense — they’re the four No. 1 seeds — and the undefeated Bulldogs will be a popular pick in many brackets to win their first national championship.
The second tier of Iowa, Houston, Alabama and Ohio State are slightly sneakier bets to win it all but still have the high-end talent to erase the chalk.
A team seeded 3 or lower has won the NCAA Tournament only five times since 1990, but it’s always possible — especially in a season filled with as much uncertainty as this one. The lowest seed to win the NCAA Tournament was No. 8 Villanova in 1985.

March Madness bracket predictions 2021
It wouldn’t be enough to just have one expert tell you who they think will win it all, so we got several writers to submit their NCAA Tournament predictions to help you deflect blame when your bracket busts in the first round. Here are our experts’ picks to reach the 2021 Final Four with links to their full bracket analysis.
Mike DeCourcy: Gonzaga, Alabama, Purdue, Illinois
Bill Bender: Gonzaga, Florida State, Ohio State, Illinois
Ryan Fagan: Gonzaga, Texas, Ohio State, Oklahoma State
Matt Lutovsky: Gonzaga, Texas, Baylor, Illinois
Vinnie Iyer: Gonzaga, Michigan, Ohio State, Illinois
March Madness upset predictions
Upsets in the NCAA Tournament are never easy to predict. If they were, it wouldn’t be called March Madness. However, there are always at least a few underseeded teams every year that pull off an upset or two in the first weekend and go on a Cinderella run. It’s just a matter of uncovering them.
Sporting News’ Bill Bender broke down his nine sleeper teams most likely to pull off an upset in 2021.
Liberty (Round 1 opponent: Oklahoma State -9.5): The Flames have won 12 straight games heading into the Big Dance, and this program is 82-16 over the last three seasons. Liberty pulled a 5-12 upset in 2019, and they have the guard play necessary to make a run with Darius McGhee and Chris Parker. Liberty is one of six team in Division I that averaged fewer than 10 turnovers per game. That efficient play could easily lead to an upset. That style could make it interesting against Oklahoma State and the winner of Tennessee-Oregon State. This is one 5-12 upset we like.
UC-Santa Barbara (Round 1 opponent: Creighton -6.5): The Gauchos have lost just one game since Jan. 1. This is their first tournament appearance since 2011, but UC-Santa Barbara brings an experienced team that has won 20-plus games each of the last four seasons under Joe Pasternack. Jaquori McLaughlin averages 16.2 points and 5.2 assists per game. This is a team capable of beating Creighton and challenging the winner of Virginia-Ohio. This is the other 5-12 upset we like.
Winthop (Round 1 opponent: Villanova -6): The Eagles are back in the tournament for the first time since 2017, and this is the second appearance under ninth-year coach Pat Kelsey. Winthrop has four players who averaged double figures. Senior Chandler Vaudrin and freshman D.J. Burns are productive in the post, and the Eagles rank in the top-10 in the country in rebounding as a result. That is a good formula to take into the tournament for a possible upset bid. Villanova is a tough matchup, but the post presence could make it interesting.

NCAA bracket region breakdowns
If simple picks aren’t your cup of tea, Mike DeCourcy has gone ahead and broken down all four of the bracket’s regions for some in-depth analysis of the best storylines, most likely upsets and more. We’ve also got stats and sleepers that could decide each region.
West Region: Gonzaga’s road to a perfect season could come down to whether Kansas or Virginia are at full strength.
East Region: Is Juwan Howard or Patrick Ewing the bigger celebrity coach in this region?
South Region: Baylor could be a popular upset target with potential clashes with North Carolina and Purdue before the Elite Eight.
Midwest Region: Cade Cunningham is well known among NBA draftniks but can he carry Oklahoma State past Illinois to the Final Four?

Six of the teams that Katz projects to make the Elite Eight are from the Big 12 (Baylor, Texas and West Virginia) or Big Ten (Illinois, Iowa and Ohio State), with Gonzaga and Florida State being the other two teams slotted in to the regional finals.
In the 2019 NCAA Tournament, three conferences sent two teams to the Elite Eight – the ACC, Big Ten and SEC – with the Big 12 and WCC contributing one each. The Big 12 was the last conference to have three teams in the Elite Eight, when Kansas, Kansas State and Texas Tech made it in 2018.
Rutgers is Katz’s Cinderella
The only double-digit seed that Katz projects to make the second weekend is No. 10 seed Rutgers, which will play No. 7 seed Clemson in the first round. Katz has the Scarlet Knights upsetting No. 2 seed Houston in the second round.
And here were Katz’s final 2021 NCAA Tournament predictions, just hours before Selection Sunday, based on games played through Saturday, March 13.

Here’s Katz’s full field of 68 seed list and his notes from his bracket:
Expect a few contingency brackets based on the Houston/Cincinnati American winner and the Colgate/Loyola-MD Patriot winner.
If Colgate wins the Patriot they would be a 14 seed, per our bracket, but if Loyola (Md) won then they would be on the 16 line.
A Cincinnati win would knock out Wichita State in the last four in.
Also, both VCU and St. Bonaventure are projected in the field, regardless of what happens in the A-10 final.
A VCU loss would put the Rams in the First Four. A VCU win would keep the Rams out of the First Four and drop Syracuse or St. Bonaventure into the First Four. Here are the seeds as we project.

90,000 Curly brackets – We Read Together Magazine. Navigator in the world of books “
This year the “National Bestseller” award was given to a small book by Sergey Nosov “Curly Brackets”. The year of literature in Russia has become difficult and, perhaps, will be the last one for the award, in the title of which the word “national” is present. Established in 2001 by St. Petersburg publisher, founder of “Limbus Press” K. Tublin, the prize was deprived of investors, and, according to information disseminated by the press service, in this situation K.Tublin financed it for the last time. Its laureates in different years were L. Yuzefovich and A. Prokhanov, V. Pelevin and D. Bykov, A. Gelasimov and A. Terekhov. Winner of “SuperNatsbest” (2011) for the prose of the decade – Z. Prilepin. It is not entirely clear whether the award has shaped our attitude towards these highly promoted and almost always media persons, or whether they shape our trust in her. An award is an achievement; it is not given for potential or opportunity. An award is a type of advertisement. As stated in the “Regulations on the Prize”, its goal is “to reveal the unclaimed <...> market potential of highly artistic and / or other virtues of prose works”.S. Nosov was included in the lists on the recommendation of the chief editor of “Limbus” P. Krusanov.
Magic is different. English boy Harry Potter from Hogwarts and Carlson, who lives in Stockholm, magic realism and “magic theater” G. Hesse. Magic cannot always be explained (see the dialogue about the miracle on page 134 of “Curly brackets”). The hero of the novel by Sergei Nosov, a lonely father suffering from insomnia and a mathematics teacher Kapitonov (he has a name, but the use of a surname – the author chooses unpretentious Russian surnames by education and is even ready to come up with something – more accurately reflects the context of the unlived scoop, which is quite successfully recreated by the author) comes from Moscow to his native St. Petersburg for a conference of magicians. However, they manifest themselves as Muggles of the 1990s (according to Zamyatin – “we”): they conduct endless empty debates and deal with organizational issues. Some cheerful verbiage and demagoguery, which sometimes (not always) speak of a good mood and energy of the author, but tell us nothing, not even a good mood, accompany (and haunt) us throughout the entire story. A mistake at the station, a fictitious threat of a terrorist attack, characters-symbols like the Architect of Events, hiding his real name, and the Time Eater, constantly vomiting in his room (the times are not the same as before) sketch out a modest, slightly ironic, rather boring picture of ours, today and yesterday, reality without revelations and discoveries.But, probably, the writer has the right to such a fixing record, in which there are no ratings or recipes.
What are curly braces? The first education of the author (and the only one for his hero) is mathematics. “He now counts, like elephants, the degrees to which the curly brace is raised. ” “First, they enclose in parentheses, and what contains what is enclosed in round brackets is enclosed in square brackets, and what contains what is enclosed in square brackets is enclosed in curly brackets. <…> the type of brackets corresponds to the level of nesting. “ In the novel there are inserted stories-tabs: a performance presented in dialogues, Mukhin’s diary. There is an original division into chapters – time, the clock breaks the text array into fragments. “And there is still no sleep.”
Ubuntu16.04 Vim Editor + Vundle + Python (dummy version)
Usually ubuntu installs vim-tiny version by default.
In the user’s home directory ~ / .vimrc If it is not filled in in the document, you need to create a new one yourself:
cd ~
touch.vimrc
Touch is a widely used command for creating files in Linux. Please tell Baidu about the difference between touch and mkdir.
The most important thing about a vim plugin is vundle, which is used to manage other vim plugins.
project address https://github.com/VundleVim/Vundle.vim。
Download the source first:
git clone https://github.com/VundleVim/Vundle.vim.git ~ / .vim / bundle / Vundle.vim
If the ~ / .vim / bundle directory does not exist, create a new directory:
cd ~
mkdir .vim
cd .vim
mkdir bundle
Then put the following configuration at the top of the .vimrc file:
set nocompatible "be iMproved, required
filetype off "required
"set the runtime path to include Vundle and initialize
set rtp + = ~ / .vim / bundle / Vundle.vim
call vundle # begin ()
"let Vundle manage Vundle, required
Plugin 'VundleVim / Vundle.vim '
"All of your Plugins must be added before the following line
call vundle # end () "required
filetype plugin indent on "required
If you want to load a plug-in, such as the indentpython. vim auto-indent plug-in, you need to:
Plugin 'vim-scripts / indentpython.vim'
Set call vundle # begin () and call Between vundle # end () save the configuration and run it in vim , Type linux vim, press Enter, then type:
: PluginInstall
Plugin indentpython.vim can be loaded automatically.
Packages can load several different plugins in the following ways:
Plugin on github
Plugin 'tpope / vim-fugitive'
Plugins from http://vim-scripts.org/vim/scripts.html
Plugin 'L9'
Git plugin not on github
Plugin 'git: //git.wincent.com/command-t.git'
Native plugin
Plugin 'file: /// home / gmarik / path / to / plugin'
"The sparkup vim script is in a subdirectory of this repo called vim.
"Pass the path to set the runtimepath properly.
"Plugin 'rstacruz / sparkup', {'rtp': 'vim /'}
For old plugins, download the new plugin and rename it to avoid conflicts.Plugin 'ascenator / L9', {'name': 'newL9'}
In addition to running in vim: PluginInstall, the download method can also be run from the command line:
vim + PluginInstall + qall

Add a configuration to the py file that supports the pep8 style:
au BufNewFile, BufRead *.py
\ set tabstop = 4 "tab width
\ set softtabstop = 4
\ set shiftwidth = 4
\ set textwidth = 79 "Maximum line width
The \ set expandtab "tab is replaced by a space
\ set autoindent "Auto indent
\ set fileformat = unix "Keep file format

A very easy to use autocomplete plugin that is relatively heavy.
Official website address: http: //valloric.github.io/YouCompleteMe/
github address: https: //github.com/Valloric/YouCompleteMe
After installing YouCompleteMe, you need to manually compile and then configure it in .vimrc.
For use in ubuntu, first prepare some tools:
sudo apt-get install build-essential cmake
In the following sentence ubuntu may pack dependency errors:
sudo apt-get install python-dev python3-dev
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
Python-dev: dependency: python (= 2.7.11-1), but 2.7.12-1 ~ 16.04 will be installed
Dependency: libpython-dev (= 2.7.11-1), but it will not be installed
Dependency: python2.7-dev (> = 2.7.11- 1 ~) but it will not be installed
Python3-dev: Dependency: libpython3-dev (= 3.5.1-3) but it will not be installed
Dependency: python3.5-dev (> = 3.5.1-2 ~ ), but it will not be installed
E: The error cannot be fixed because you need certain software packages to maintain the status quo, that is, they break dependencies between software packages.
Then I found that no matter how you run the sudo apt command, you cannot install any of them, because the package and the package have mutual dependencies.

There are also blogs that recommend using the Vundle config file.vimrc to install YCM.
Plugin 'Valloric / YouCompleteMe'
Downloaded and installed manually
# Execute in the directory of the main file
git clone https://github.com/Valloric/YouCompleteMe.git
# Check the integrity of the repository after manually loading, go to the YouCompleteMe directory and enter the following command:
# Enter the YCM files directory
cd . vim / bundle / YoucomPleteMe
# Fulfillment of an order
git submodule update --init --recursive
If the network is not reliable during the process, it is recommended that you use the du command to monitor the file size.
du -lhs .vim / bundle / YouComPleteMe
After getting the object cloning module, compile
The –clang-completer option is for adding auto-completion for C-series languages or not adding:
If you don’t need c-family completion, you can remove –clang-completer. If you need C # completion add –omnisharp-completer
# Execute in YCM directory
./install.py --clang-completer
Copy the following code to your configuration file.vimrc,

90,000 Fictitious marriage – 24th Walk – Wattpad
In the car
– Yulka, why are you so unhappy? -Dina said with a smile.
-Yes so …. “family problems.” – showing brackets with my fingers, I said.
-Yasnenko. -Dina said and looked at the phone screen.
After 20 minutes we were in the center.
The driver opened the door for us and my friend and I went out.
– Well, where are we going? – I asked
– Well, I don’t know … – said the girl thoughtfully.
– Okay, come on. – I agreed and we went for a walk.
~~~
Dina and I walked merrily, I have already forgotten the last time we walked like that.
Tired, we sat down at the fountain.
– Damn … we haven’t walked for so long. – I said greedily gulping air.
-Yes, don’t tell me. -Dina said and ubybnula.
– What will we do next? – Looking at the girl, I asked
– I don’t know …. maybe in a cafe? – Dina suggested.
-Well, in principle, you can …- I said thoughtfully and we got up.
Cafe
Entering the hall, I looked around the room and chose a table in the corner.
– Dean, let’s go there. – pointing to the side of the table, I said.
-Come on. -With a smile the girl said and we passed.
As soon as we sat down, a waiter came up to us.
– What will you order? – the guy asked sweetly.
– I’ll have a latte and strawberry dessert. – With a smile, looking at the menu, I said.
-I will be the same. -Dina said and we gave the menu.
The waiter left and we waited for the order.
-Listen, Dean, and you and Rakhim were going to rest there. Are you not going anymore? -I turned to the girl.
– Let’s go, it’s just that such a situation happened there … – the girl became sad.
-What? -I asked
-It’s not possible for Rakhim earlier, he is still going to be there for some birthday. By the way, with your Danya. -This news did not please me …
-He didn’t say anything to me. I am.
-Hidden …- a friend whispered softly.
-It turns out so ….- I said sadly.
Silence hung between us …. but it was interrupted by the waiter who brought the order ..
As soon as the guy set everything up and left, we started eating.
Towards evening
I returned home.
-Milokhin, I’m at home. -I said to the whole house.
-Where and with whom have you been? -The guy asked displeased.
-And hello to you. -I snorted and took off my shoes.
-I ask where and who have you been with? -He repeated the question.
-Walked in the center with Dina. Is that all? -I answered rudely.
-What were you doing in the center? -Placing his hands on his chest, asked the guy.
-I, what got to the interrogation? -So looking at Danya, I asked.
– Answer the question. – Milokhin snapped.
-Walked. GU-LA-LI. Did you understand it? -I answered rudely.
-Go to your room. -My unfriendly ordered and went into the hall.
I just snorted and went up to the room.
After changing clothes, I lay down on the bed and thought….
-What will it be for a birthday that Danya hid it from me? -I asked myself a question.
He tortured me for probably 10 minutes, then I got up and went down to the hall
MOSCOW, Nov 20 – RIA Novosti. Russian singer Lolita Milyavskaya in an interview with “Komsomolskaya Pravda” said that she considers her marriage to Dmitry Ivanov fictitious. She came to this conclusion after analyzing the marriage with a psychologist. According to her, all the years there was a man-narcissist next to her. “We are talking about people who not only love themselves very much and cannot walk past the mirror. Everything is much worse.These people are not able to love, they are not inclined to empathize. They are like that from birth. They cannot be judged. Psychiatrists around the world believe that this is a disease, “- said the singer. She concluded that her marriage” is rather fictitious, because in it one of the partners behaved like a narcissist. ” In addition, Lolita’s lawyer Sergei Zhorin said that the court was provided with screenshots of Ivanov’s correspondence, who is discussing the details of intimate meetings with his mistress.Lolita announced her breakup with Ivanov in early July. In the fall, a Moscow court registered an application for divorce. Until the couple is officially divorced. The couple have been married for nine years, before that the artist was married four times.
Experts assessed the military security strategy of Ukraine, which was recently approved by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Last Thursday, March 25, the Ukrainian leader signed a decree “On the strategy of military security.”The document proposes to consolidate the concept of an integrated defense of the country; Russia was identified as a key threat to Ukraine’s national security.
The head of the All-Ukrainian Association of Security Market Operators Sergey Shabovty got acquainted with the strategy. In an interview with PolitNavigator, the expert said that it was an anti-Russian propaganda document. In his opinion, the military strategy should be more multilateral and objective.
Shabovty drew attention to the fact that the document approved by Zelensky superficially describes the problems related to internal security and the effectiveness of the work of law enforcement agencies.The quality of personnel ready for mobilization remains outside the brackets.
The expert added that the strategy does not contain any information on civil defense and improvement of mobilization work. Shabovty recalled that in Ukraine there are big problems with prompt notification of people, evacuation. “On the whole, this is a more political document than a military-strategic one,” he concluded.
The strategy was also assessed by the politician Vasily Volga. He noted that the document is fictitious. Its authors admit that the country does not have enough military potential for defense.Therefore, one of the key measures is complex diplomatic events.
Also referred to in the material is “territorial defense”. The expert explained that this includes training bases (for example, two bases of the Azov battalion) organized by Ukrainian nationalists. For years, their members have incited hatred of Russians.
“This is a strategy out of despair, from the fact that there is nothing else to do but hope for territorial defense and help from the West,” concluded the Volga.
Constant dummy output – pulseaudio
The sound card I want to use was detected and working (it just recently switched to a dummy output and wouldn’t let me go back).
HDMI no longer appears in the Audio & Video list – KDE control module; everything under the sound module is set to dummy output, and now this is the only sound card on the list. I can view my previous sound cards in alsamixer, but changing the settings from there does nothing.
How can I get my real sound cards to work again?
I’ve already tried the following answers without success:
Can this image help?:
There is another sound card, but I’m not sure what it is for, because it never outputs sound, but it does have a lot of settings: this sound card is marked as “HD- Audio Generic “.
So I went into Software & Updates under the Additional Drivers tab and I see this:
It was on Don’t use device, so I changed it and applied the settings and went into the console and did sudo apt- get update
and the last message was
E: Failed to fetch cdrom: // Kubuntu 16.04 LTS _Xenial Xerus_ - Release amd64 (20160420.1) / dists / xenial / main / binary-amd64 / Packages Please use apt-cdrom to make this CD-ROM recognized by APT.apt-get update cannot be used to add new CD-ROMs
So I tried sudo apt-cdrom: // Kubuntu 16.04 LTS _Xenial Xerus_ - Release amd64 (20160420.1) / dists / xenial / main / binary-amd64 / Packages
but it doesn’t accept parentheses, so it returned this code:
bash: syntax error near unexpected token `('
so I unchecked the cdrom source under “Other Software” and updated again and there are no errors. Unfortunately, the sound card does not come back even after a reboot.
