By getting your hands on one of these high-performing shafts early, you’ll be able to dial in your skills and be ready to own the midfield when opening day arrives.
What to Look for in a Great Midfield Shaft
When shopping for a new midfield shaft, there are a few key factors savvy players consider:
- Weight – Since midfielders cover so much ground, a lightweight shaft is ideal for speed and endurance.
- Flexibility – Superior ball control comes from a shaft with a responsive flex point.
- Grip – A tacky grip prevents slipping when cradling at top speed.
- Durability – Midfielders need a shaft that can take a beating and not break.
- Release – Quick stick skills require excellent ball release on passes and shots.
Keep these metrics in mind as you evaluate your options – the right shaft can be a game changer!
